A veteran Florida police officer was shot and killed while on duty early Sunday.
Officer Charles Kondek, 45, was gunned down in Tarpon Springs, about 30 miles northwest of Tampa, after responding to a call for service around 2 am., local police said.
He was at Glen's Eureka Apartments responding to a noise complaint involving a suspect banging on residential doors — when the man allegedly shot him and fled in a car, WTSP reported.

We need to keep up with who these shooters are, because Brinsley in NCY was a black Muslim, who made terrorist threats in 2005.
They didn't pull the trigger but they fomented, instigated, incited, provoked, agitated, excited, stirred up, whipped up, encourage, urged and fanned the flames of that anti-police mind set.

St. Louis case was an off-duty cop in his private car.
No particular reason to believe they knew he was a cop. At least until further evidence comes out.
In the article, it said the bear "allegedly" broke in and smashed the place up.

This is a fairly good area and only about a block from really high end waterfront homes.
OTOH, it’s only about two blocks from the center of the TS hood.

From what I’ve heard, which isn’t much, I can’t tell what he was wearing. Oddly, it says he was shot while in his vehicle by people firing from another vehicle, but the wounds are in his legs. Not what you’d expect.

Remarkably little information available. Suspect media is keeping lid on story.
They ought to be able to say what happened without pitching in allegedly.
What is alleged is that the person charged committed the acts.
