Does this mean we can send nastygrams to Sony the next time they prepare to release an anti-conservative film and they’ll pull it?

They won’t stop.
They still have a plethora of data to blackmail them with.
This only prolongs the agony................

Yes. Likely. But no different from the President of the United States whose cowardice, capitulation and deviousness is legendary.

Sounds to me like Sony has a lot of dirty laundry that it doesn’t want to be made public.
To: Red Badger
Yep, now that they know Sony will give them concessions, it will only encourage them to push for more.

My thoughts too. They conducted a review of in-house emails after the first leaks and realized that there is a treasure trove of gossip and perhaps evidence of illegal activity of some sort.

It's time for Sony to put their new product on the market.

Given the circumstances I'm not sure I'd call Sony a coward. The leaders of NK are genuine psychopaths...that cannot be denied.Consider the possibility that the State Dept,DoD and/or DHS asked them...or even *ordered* them...to pull the film. It's one thing to get threats like this from ISIS but an entirely different thing to get it from a nuclear armed country run by psychopaths.
I,personally, would love to see three of our carriers sent to the vicinity and dare them to do something.

Under exactly what legal authority would any of those agencies have to order Sony to do such a thing?

Theaters won’t show it due to the liability since there has been a threat - their attorneys are telling them ‘no’ to having it in their theaters. Sony needs to put it online if they want to stand up to the Norks. I doubt they’ll do that since if the movie is not released, they can get some kind of insurance payout (per a report on FOX last night). If they do put it online, no theater revenue & no insurance.

So does anyone believe we should go to war for Hollywood, and their phony liberal execs and stars who make their career out of bending our minds and hammering those who might carry a Bible and a gun?
I’m not convinced that what we are told by either this Japanese Co or their pawns in our government is reality. I’d be more likely to refer to it as pretending and virtual reality which is what Hollywood specializes in.

VERY smart. Stay OFF the ‘grid’ as much as possible. All the way from NOT having a Farcebook account to NOT having a “smart” TV. I’m with you on these practices.
