You’ll be missed, but so glad you had that done and hope it is as successful as so many of the people’s that I know who have also had it done!
Now...go rest! :)

Checking in from my friend's place in suburban Seattle. First a nice lunch with my rail friends in Seattle as we solved all of America's rail problems over a nice meal.
Then a trip to our favorite sushi bar with my libertarian friend and his wife. (There goes my diet.)
I'll post Rockumentary tomorrow night. I'm not leaving here for the 2 hour drive home until the notorious Seattle traffic dies down.

Fortunately the heavy rains and wild winds are over and done with. Lost power for a bit last night, but no worse for wear.

Good evening, Army Bro! Your beloved Black Knights are long overdue - I wish them all the best and a good contest!
I attended the Army-Navy Game in City Stadium, Philadelphia with my father in 1966. He was in uniform, or course - I was less than a year shy of enlistment. The game ended in a tie.
Before the kickoff, there was a tense moment. President Johnson did not attend that year, nor did Vice-President Humphrey. Right before kick-off, a Lincoln limo with darkened windows entered the stadium escorted by what appeared to be Secret Service agents. The limo circled the field and came to rest in front of the Navy bench.
The door opened and out pranced Bill - I forget what Roman numeral - the Navy mascot. To make a long story short, there had been an attempt to kidnap Bill. Bill was removed to a secure location and kept under wraps until the game.
A memorable moment.

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
