The Democratic assault on the CIA’s tough interrogation tactics against al Qaeda and other terrorists after 9/11 was pushed Wednesday to a new level when a top senator accusing the Bush White House of playing a role in the destruction of video evidence of “torture.”
Sen. Carl Levin, the retiring chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, said it “reminds me of Watergate.”
The Michigan senator was referring to a section of the Democratic report on the CIA tactics released Tuesday that noted the destruction of videos the day after his proposal to establish an independent commission to probe the interrogations and allegations of abuse fell a dozen votes short in a Senate vote November 8, 2005.

Democrats go after any war that a Republican President wages, trying to paint it as a crime against humanity.
Don’t forget Gruber on that list. Grubergate is what Levin wants obscured.
Levin was among those who wrote to the IRS wanting conservative groups “checked out”.
Was listening to a rebroadcast of today’s Dennis Prager. He had a guest on who says that with a finding of torture (as was the conclusion of this partisan report) they are REQUIRED to prosecute criminal charges.
Are the Democrats really going to go there?
Shame on the Democrats for trying to use such a serious terrorism issue as campaign fodder. That is all this is about: 2016 campaigns.
Wrong, Senator Levin. It should remind you of the Church Committee, and the critical damage that debacle did to American intelligence agencies. If nothing else, you should remember that the last Democratic Party witch-hunt directed against the CIA led directly to the Iranian Revolution and the establishment of the Taliban theocracy in Afghanistan.
What does the Obama regime droning individuals? Enhanced interrogations leave the individuals alive.
And should be held accountable by legal means.

I suspect that the CIA now knows it is engaged in a two front war and will now go after the Dems as hard as they have the Islamists and the dirt on the Dems will start as a trickle and in a flood.
Irs scandal alone is. Far greater than watergate.
I am being required to relive the 70s and the Democrats’ attack on the CIA. Some of the same players too.
It’s really reliving the 60s and 70s all in a few months instead of a couple of decades. It’s and evil sickness with these idiots.
