Senate Democrats and President Obama have moved up to a whole new level of desperate.
On Tuesday, Democrats in the Senate, who will lose control of the chamber in just three weeks, released a report focused on interrogation techniques during the administration of George W. Bush.
Yes, Mr. Obama is all about transparency, as long as its not about his administration. Despite warnings from top Obama officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, that release of the once-classified report would endanger Americans abroad, the president demanded that the United States explain its actions to terrorists.
In some ways, the interrogation techniques detailed in the 500-page report were brutal. The CIA used waterboarding, sleep deprivation, isolation, starvation to break enemy combatants captured in the fields of war. One suspect never charged with any crime died of hypothermia. The Central Intelligence Agency also set up secret black sites in numerous places around the world where captives were held, sometimes for years.
The reason for the in some ways qualifier above is that the techniques were set up just six days after Islamic terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, killing 3,000 people. While Mr. Obama on Tuesday said whats clear is that the CIA set up something very fast, without a lot of forethought to what the ramifications might be, the fact remains that in the dangerous days after Sept. 11, 2001, America was, for the first time, at war with a foe that felt no remorse in targeting U.S. civilians, even children.

“WAGGING THE GRUBER is my guess.”
The article has nothing about gruber but, I agree with you.
A major portion of the real story is Feinstein’s revenge. This from The American Thinker: “Feinstein is also pursuing personal revenge against CIA. Allegedly, the agency spied on her committee and walked off with documents. This followed the CIA humiliating Feinstein after she tried to salvage her good liberal credentials by stating publicly that she and her committee were unaware that the CIA used enhanced interrogation (such as water boarding).”

You got that one right. Something tells me the agency can deal with her anytime a particular agent chooses to do so.
This is such a non-story, but, the Bolshie press was apoplectic. Anything to push Gruber and Benghazi out of mind to save the incOmpetent.
The Left’s despise of our nation’s military is rearing its ugly head in the torture report release. While taking a swipe at our CIA, they are hurting our ability to obtain information using techniques that should be kept top secret. Now that the world knows our techniques, those who are our enemies will train against them.
>> The CIA used waterboarding, sleep deprivation, isolation, starvation
Wow, kinda like being self-employed...
I also view these actions as a vindictive, FU!!! to the American public for voting them out of control of power. Might as well burn the place down on their way out.
They have used their, "political control" to flush the US down the toilet!
As criticism of this report mounts Obama will feel more pressure to disassociate himself from it.
Eventually he will back down from supporting the report and Senator Di-Fi will end up under the Obama Bus.
While Difiswine and McAinal display their public crocodile tears, their buddies the Islamic Jihadist terrorists kill more and more innocent people.

Jihadist attacks killed more than 5,000 people in just one month, an investigation by the BBC World Service and Kings College London has found.
Civilians bore the brunt of the violence, with more than 2,000 killed in reported jihadist incidents during November 2014. Islamic State carried out the most attacks, adding to the spiralling death toll in Iraq and Syria. Explore the map to find out more.
The data gathered by the BBC found that 5,042 people were killed in 664 jihadist attacks across 14 countries - a daily average of 168 deaths, or seven every hour.
About 80% of the deaths came in just four countries - Iraq, Nigeria, Syria and Afghanistan, according to the study of media and civil society reports.
Iraq was the most dangerous place to be, with 1,770 deaths in 233 attacks, ranging from shootings to suicide bombings.
In Nigeria, 786 people, almost all of them civilians, were killed in 27 Boko Haram incidents. These tended to be large and indiscriminate bombings and shootings such as the attack on the central mosque in the northern city of Kano, which left 120 dead.
Boko Haram also struck over the border in Cameroon, killing 15 people. Meanwhile, in East Africa, al-Shabab took 266 lives in Somalia and Kenya.
Afghanistan suffered almost the same number of deaths as Nigeria (782) but they tended to be in smaller, targeted attacks, such as the shooting of the deputy governor of Kandahar.
In war-ravaged Syria, 693 people were killed; Yemen had 410 deaths in 37 attacks.
Of the 16 jihadist groups involved in the bloodshed, Islamic State was the most deadly, killing 2,206 people across Iraq and Syria - 44% of the total death toll.

obama is ONE OF THEM..... wake up
The gang headed by Zer0 can run guns into Mexico, do drone strikes that do not always hit their mark and arm Libyan and Syrian rebels. When valuable intelligence is extracted from terrorists who beheaded, gang raped and got girls to set off body bombs for Allah, we are saying “Hail Marys” and throwing our CIA under the bus. Good night! Cry me a river.
