President Barack Obama, who had medical tests on Saturday after complaining of a sore throat, is suffering from acid reflux, the president's physician said.
"The president's symptoms are consistent with soft tissue inflammation related to acid reflux and will be treated accordingly," Obama's doctor, Captain Ronny Jackson, said in a statement.
Acid reflux is a condition in which the stomach contents flow back up from the stomach into the esophagus, causing such symptoms as heartburn and sore throat.
Obama, 53, went to Walter Reed military hospital for a fiber optic exam of his throat and since swelling was detected, doctors decided to perform a CT scan as well, Jackson said.

Nexium... 1 pill a day and I can eat hot peppers by the hand full. It’s awesome and prior to Nexium I drank a bottle of Diovol every day and ate Zantac like it was going out of style, which it has because of Nexium.
And a CT Scan is a total waste of time..the best diagnosis is done through an Endoscopy procedure..unless its Joan River’s doc doing the procedure, then your pretty much a dead duck, but that is a whole other matter..guess Obama isn’t abiding by Michelle’s “Eat Healthy Campaign” remember, with liberals, they don’t have to abide by the rules they make, we just get stuck having to do it

My guess is they were checking to make sure that’s all it was. Heartburn can be a sign of esophageal cancer and a CT scan should pick a tumor, if there was one.
Barrett’s Esophagus is a pre cursor to cancer so yeah I guess it was a good idea to check..besides, the schmuck is a heavy smoker isn’t he..so that raises his risk as well

Judging by the amount of vomit he hurls on a daily basis, there is good reason for acid reflux and a soar throat. Either that or Reggie is back in town.
