It’s a matter of common sense that putting boys in a girls’ locker room would create confusion, anxiety and discomfort. It’s a matter of common sense that boys, with their greater muscle mass, should not be allowed to compete on girls’ athletic teams. Those norms are self-evident to an overwhelming majority of the public.
On Thursday, the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) will vote on abolishing those norms of common sense. A pending policy would end the traditional rule of dividing athletes by biological gender. Instead, it would grant boys with a “deeply felt internal sense” of being female the right to compete on girls’ teams.
The policy is meant to look as if it gives schools a measure of discretion. But it contains a clause that any capable lawyer can drive a truck through. It virtually guarantees that any school denying a boy the right to compete as a girl will face a lawsuit.
The policy calls for schools to review particular matters (for example, statements from parents and teachers). Then it states: “When there is confirmation of a student’s consistent and uniform gender-related identity or any other evidence that the gender-related identity is sincerely held as part of the person’s core identity, the student will be eligible” to play on his team of choice (emphasis added).
Any lawyer can tell you that such language generates lawsuits. The disjunctive “or,” the boundless “any other evidence” and the mandatory “will be eligible” are potent grounds for a claim. The clause would grant boys a right to play as girls virtually on demand.

This is the next assault on moral and social order. A homogeneous people, undefined by gender or age. This is becoming prevalent in the Black community already, like the decay of the family and sexual morality; music, language, etc. it will wick its way into mainstream.

How do you figure when there have always been intersexed humans?
You do realize all males begin fetal development as females until and unless there is an XY chromosome and the XY chromosome is fully successful in completing the male development without an abnormality. Any physical impairment of full male development of the initial female fetus results in physical and/or mental female characteristics being present in an otherwise chromosomal male.

THE PATIENT MAKES THE DIAGNOSIS
It is nice to see some movement on a subject that has been mired in 1950's psychology. It is interesting that a such a "disease" that requires such drastic mutilation, has not been researched using post-millennial tools and techniques. When someone is "diagnosed" as transgender where are the CAT scans, MRIs, blood work, DNA work and other diagnostic techniques that would search for biological causation? None.
Where are the psychological diagnostic instruments that would confirm or deny? None.
Where are the trials of antipsychotics, antianxiety agents and psychotherapy to test the contents of the patient's beliefs? None.
Where is the research about diagnostic decisions trees that include biological paradigms? None.
Instead we are told that the patient makes the diagnosis. Because they have felt like the opposite sex from their DNA since they can remember. Not accounting for the fact that in delusional processes, the past is incorporated in the delusions i.e.: when I treat the secretary who thinks she is the Queen of England, although her delusional onset may be recent (within a matter of months or days, at times) her delusions will include memories of being a child-queen, for acute delusional processes are often seamless.
Parents who arrive at schools and clinics with children dressed and raised as their DNA opposites are hailed as brave instead of studied as classic cases of Munchhausen by Proxy where parents seek attention by making up and believing the child is different, ill or diseased and providing symptoms and evidence to back the parent's need.

That is a false statement. There are separate fetal development factors for females as well.

I commented only about your “mental disorder’ comment and nothing further. All humans are born with some measure of “rarities and disordered” physiology. What is to be done or not done about any given physiological and/or mental deviation from a subjective or objective norm, sexual or non-sexual, is subject to controversy. FWIW, exceptional sexual physiology and/or mental sexual identity does not necessarily impair other mental faculties or behavior any more than the mental faculties of more conventional norms. On the contrary, many humans in general compliance with certain sexual norms will be mentally ill with psychoses or neuroses not present in a particular transgendered person. Future research may even go so far someday as to determine some transgendered persons are more mentally well adjusted with regard to compassion and other measures of mental fitness than many heterosexuals and homosexuals exhibiting extremes of sexual and social behavior.

On the contrary, if you would listen to yourself you could see how you are the person who chooses “to bend reality to fit how [you] feel. You have no doubt met and/or worked with transgendered, transsexual, and intersexed persons one or more times in your lifetime without ever recognizing or knowing them to be so. Yet you would “bend reality” to ridicule and hold all transgendered and intersexed people without distinction in the same contempt, ridicule, and lack of respect or compassion as heterosexual and homosexual people who are guilty of pedophilia, rape, or other sexual crimes associated with having a “mental disorder” associated with such criminal conduct.
Then, when you are shown how your indiscriminate bashing of a whole group of persons does not comport with the medical evidence, you try to bully with more ridicule and scorn through a lot of name-calling, the last refuge of a bigot.
There is abundant scientific, medical, moral, and religious reasons to criticize the events in Minnesota, to say the least for some very obvious reasons. However, bigotry and bullying for true or false reasons is not a demonstration of Christian morality.
As one Twitter user said; if you have indoor plumbing, you play on the girls’ team. If you have outdoor plumbing, you play on the boys’ team.
