And so the cave in begins.

I suppose Mr. Speaker can't read tea leaves when it's on the front page of all publications. What a dolt.

Hey bonehead, do you really enjoy that bend-over session with the Obamadork?

Please, please, get a plastic bag and place it on your head.

For at least 24 hours.

Charles Krauthammer suggested on Fox last night that they fund all of government except for Department of Homeland Security and the EPA and fund those two agenciesonly until March, when the GOP will have a greater advantage than now to battle Nobama. I wonder if Boehner is going to do that.

Another preemptive surrender from the “opposition” party. Fullly funding the kenyan in the manner will make everything in the spending bill the Obama-Boehner agenda. Boehnercare does have a nice ring to it. He owns it all now.

McBoner just want to be accepted by their colleagues across the aisle so they get invited to all the golf orgies.

That’s probably the plan.
It’ll keep the debt and spending increasing while yet giving something to conservatives.

Debt and spending have to be addressed by a President. Congress has too many incentives to increase spending and none to reduce it.

Great. So 0bama gets his Democrat voter registration drive ... err ... amnesty ... err ... 'prosecutorial discretion' fully funded until next September, which leaves the better part of a year for La Raza/Lulac/Mecha/etc to find some left-wing federal judge to order that the 'Dreamers' be given full citizenship and voting rights.

Nice job, you linguini-spined GOPe nitwits.

Wasn’t there any conservative in Boehner’s Ohio district who could have taken him on? If the folks in Virginia could defeat Cantor couldn’t the same thing have been done in Ohio with Bonehead. I’m tired of GOPe pundits saying that Boehner and McConnell are using level-headed strategy against the Democrats. Really? Looks more like a cave in to me.

I support funding "most" of the government through the end of the fiscal year, as well. Obama would be hard pressed to veto such a bill, and then get the press to blame the Republicans for a "shutdown".

Then when the pieces that aren't funded for the whole year (amnesty and certain Obamacare provisions, and whatever else the Republicans want) come up for renewal Obama won't be able to shut down the government and blame the Republicans. He will be forced to accept the Republican funding bills or get nothing at all. It's a great strategy. Give 'em a break.

With the MSM in the back pocket of the Democrat machine, as distasteful as it is, a surgical strike of the purse strings is the ONLY option. Too many ignorant voters out there that can be swayed by hit pieces by all the MSM outlets at once for a broad govt shutdown with 2016 fast approaching. Sux not having unbiased press.

The question is what parts are left out from the "most". A bill that completely leaves out funding for exactly those agencies that the Obama administration has "weaponized" (DHS, DOJ, EPA, IRS) and funds the rest would still fund most of the government. A bill which also included narrow funding for those agencies to only do uncontroversial things within their respective remits would fund even more.

It would be hard to spin a veto of the latter as the Republicans shutting down the government -- yes, I know MiniTru* would try, but it wouldn't be credible.

*The literary reference to 1984 is much better than "MSM", which still obliquely credits their claim of being "mainstream".

Sux not having unbiased press.

Actually, there was never such a thing as an unbiased press. Back in the day, there was a reason most cities had two dailies, and papers had names like The Waterbury Republican or The Hunterdon County Democrat. The notion of an "unbiased press" is a fiction created in the 1960's by an already left-biased press that either though malice or delusion believed that their own subjective view of the world was identical with objective truth.

What we need is a fully adversarial press: we need more conservative newspapers, not just newspapers with conservative editorial pages, but newspapers that go after 'Rat politicians in their reportage the way most dailies go after GOP politicians; an actual conservative news network (Fox is good, as far as it goes, but...); the news-division of one of the alphabet-networks turned center-right; and yes, there should even be some left-wing talk radio.

Does boner like Vaseline? Never...never...under any circumstances should any one who is a Conservative support these duplicitous, dishonest degenerates. Hey, gop-e...I thought it was supposedly a good thing to reelect this type of quisling.
