The Islamic State (ISIS) militants claimed on Twitter that they had the 'dirty bomb' and had 'terror' plans for London, confirming fears raised by the United Nations(UN) back in July.
Several ISIS affiliate accounts made the claim in the last few days that the militant group had the capacity to make the ' Bomb' using 40kg of Uranium that the group 'stole' from the Mosul University some four months ago.
The details of the 'dirty bomb' emerged recently after the ISIS fighters boasted on Twitter of the chaos they could wreck in London. A "dirty bomb" is a type of radiological dispersal device (RDD) that combines conventional explosives, such as dynamite, with radioactive material.
A Mirror report claimed that British ISIS fanatics were seen boasting of the possible destruction in the UK.
An ISIS fanatic, identified as Hamayun Tariq of Dudley, West Midlands, revealed on social media that the group had the bomb ready, made using nuclear material....

If Islamics detonate a dirty bomb in London or anywhere, we or the British should Nuke Mecca. Make clear they are playing with fire and that we, the civilized world, will give no quarter to such heinous acts.
Make it a “dirty bomb”, and become a “roach motel”.

A “dirty bomb” won’t / can’t make a city an irradiated wasteland. It cause destruction from the explosion. And it will spread whatever radioactivity (contamination ) is contained in the device.
Contaminated areas can be cleaned, and yes I would volunteer to assist in that. The levels of radioactivity we are talking about here are, relatively speaking, minor.
The BIGGEST impact is fear induced in the public.
If they have such a weapon I would think Paris might be a bigger target or New York City. Why bomb Mecca? better to kill every living thing in the lands owned by IS. Goats, dogs, men women children—everyone. leave not one building standing.

It depends on the type of material, and how much material there is, and how refined it is.
A dirty bomb can cause a dead zone. For a very very long time.
The immediate fear, panic, chaos, deaths, coupled with shock would cause the world to deteriorate even further.
It would be 9/11 about 100x worse. In a lot of peoples minds: Radiation bomb = nuke = mass death destruction and irradiation = freedoms traded for safety. The ultimate sum will be a onen world government. You soud like Obama: “America can absorb another terrorist attack”.
No. Preemptive offense is the best defense. A nuclear weapon would be worse, and if islam isn’t put into check, it will eventually happen.
