I propose the world governments give me a couple trillion dollars worth of gold and oil. I will make it all better.
Warming is probably the easiest geophysical problem to fix. Just reduce the amount of sunlight reaching Earth with orbiting screens etc.: mission accomplished. That’s why all this “global warming apocalypse” stuff has always been bs. “Catastrophic warming” can be reversed at any time with relatively minimal cost and effort.
We’ll put reflective particles in the atmosphere to limit solar gain.
Not to worry. If the earth cools off too much, we’ll sprinkle the ice caps with graphite to increase solar gain.
A little positive feedback loop never hurt anything.
The Colony...
Yes, thank you.
We have reached the point that government solutions are the root cause of most problems.
Stoopit and mighty full of himself.
If they are such great ideas, why haven’t we heard of them and how horrible they are?
Alarmist putz...
Global Warming is caused by government grants to academics.
It may not be identical to what the article is talking about, but it's the same basic principle.
They beat you to it chemtrails look it up
What the scientists do not understand is 1) we are in a global cooling period because our use of fossil fuels have decreased and 2) the only thing to stop global cooling is increasing our usage of fossil fuels.
Fossil fuels is Gods thermometer. Increase usage it gets warmer. Decrease usage it gets cooler.
Use it next time a lefty talks about global warming. When they argue it is more complicated than that, say “exactly, that’s why this is all a hoax.”
Sit back and watch their head go poof.
Wake me up when a *real* scientist has something to say.
Yeah, well, watch the movie “Snowpiercer” to see a fictional take on the results of man’s desire to stop ‘Global Warming’.
Hah! I didn’t see your post before I suggested the same movie!
The closer to the sun, the smaller the screen has to be.
There are only two things that frighten me, Vanessa: climate “scientists”, and carneys...
“...you will inevitably create the very problem you are seeking to solve.”
I’m guessing that spreading oil on the ice would create an entire different problem (oil, water, habitat destruction) and have no effect on the climate.
Small Simple Question (Pat. Pend.)
What is the climate we should be trying to achieve?
Snow isn’t nearly as reflective at near IR and longer wavelengths, as it is in visible light. Add as little as .1 PPM soot, and self focusing within the crystal grains feeds all the ambient light energy to the carbon, generating melting. This is the Chinese dirty combustion contribution toward melting ice in the Arctic, seen as glacial melt water in Greenland.
