On Monday Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH) called the grand jury’s decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown a “miscarriage of justice.”
In a statement released through the Congressional Black Caucus, which she chairs, Fudge said the decision not to indict Wilson “is a slap in the face to Americans nationwide who continue to hope and believe that justice will prevail.”
“This decision seems to underscore an unwritten rule that Black lives hold no value; that you may kill Black men in this country without consequences or repercussions,” Fudge said. “This is a frightening narrative for every parent and guardian of Black and brown children, and another setback for race relations in America.”
“My heart goes out to Michael Brown’s loved ones, and to the loved ones of all the Michael Browns we have buried in this country,” Fudge said.
Last week, G.K. Butterfield, the incoming chair of the Congressional Black Caucus — and former Superior Court judge — said that a crime “probably was committed” in the shooting and he warned that if [grand jurors] turn their backs on justice
there will be pushback from those who are concerned about it and Im one of those whos concerned about it. There will be pushback. We will be asking questions.
Preceding message is brought to you by the president, the media, and blacks
Yeah, they don’t seem to value their own lives, or anyone else’s or anything else.
So screw them, who cares.
There’s another dictum that anybody who would run for office should be deemed unfit for it.
Not true!
According to the Constitution, they are worth 3/5 a white person!
DON'T SELL YOURSELF SHORT BY CLAIMING NO VALUE!
“Jay Johnson’s business was looted and trashed last night. He isn’t sure how he’ll feed his family.”
Take the insurance money, close your doors and leave town. But make sure you put a big sign on your door reminding people why their town is going to turn into Detroit.
You notice there was no violence in Detroit last night?
Detroit might not be a bad place for his business.
I see white on white violence every day. I see the police showing up and standing around drinking coffee and interviewing the shooter as the coroner confirms what is already known.
The white perp came into the store to rob the owner and the owner shot the white perp in the face.
We need to send Fudge packing.
Is there a typo there?
Congressional Black Caucus? Shouldn’t
that be Congressional Black Jackass?
“There were three black people on the grand jury that declined to indict Officer Wilson.”
I was wondering what the racial makeup of the grand jury was; now I know. I’m very glad there were blacks on the grand jury. It would be great if they could spread the word on all the details of the shooting. But I am only dreaming. For sure, the details would be ignored by those who refuse to acknowledge the truth.
Symptoms usually not visible until they get into office.
Especially in cities represented by members of The Congressional Black Caucus.
They should send Fudge packing!
For way too long blacks have felt an sense of entitlement. This has vastly increased under the mulatto usuper and results in blacks thinking that they are allowed to do as they please, even act like animals. This culture is egged on by the "gangsta", "hip-hop" culture. The key words here: Congressional Black Caucus - can you imagine the uproar if there were a "Congressional White Caucus"?
That is a racist statement. The unwritten rule is that thug lives hold no value, regardless of race. Most blacks are not thugs, contrary to the impression this black "leader" wants to convey, so most black lives have value.
Thanks Marcia Fudge. You’re a genius.
Do insurance companies pay for damage caused by riots?
They tend to stay away from risks that can be wide spread like floods.
Oh I don’t know....black lives usually don’t have any value....to blacks.
