Christie as a big government liberal, which makes him a Democrat asset because he claims to be a republican. That guarantees a liberal win if he gets our nomination in 2016.

My personal opinion is that Christie isn't even going to be a serious contender in 2016, and may not even run at all. If he does, his campaign will be reminiscent of Rudy Giuliani's failed presidential campaigns.

I've been saying for a long time that Christie's real motivation is that he wants to be the U.S. Attorney General. He'll be a major player in 2016 because he's a prolific fundraiser and a popular figure in the Northeast, and he'll leverage that into the AG position in a Republican administration (if its successful) in 2016.

Christi might call himself a Republican, and he did head-up the Rep. Governors’ group and campaigned for Reps.; but IMO the man is a farce (like Paul, Cruz, etc.).

I view him as a typical North Eastern pol, who will say anything to acquire/hold power. He’s like a sterotype gangster from the prohibition days of Elliot Ness.

He’s too prone to favor taking care of illegal aliens and supporting other liberal views for me.

Four people who hope lose early in the Republican primaries:

1. Jeb Bush
2. Mitt Romney
3. Chris Christie
4. Rand Paul

It is not his combativeness that is such a liability. In fact, I believe it may be an asset. It is his policies that are his liability.

His combativeness will not disqualify him, but the video of him walking down a beach, arm in arm with Obama would disqualify him every time it was replayed during the campaign. The last election was a vote against Obama, that vid will be toxic for Christie. He is toast.

Christie is only combative with teachers, conservatives, and people in his own party he does not agree with.

He is a pathetic wimp and a true “walk across the aisle quisling” when it comes to dealing with democrats.

I don’t trust Christie. That being said, aside from Cruz and maybe Paul, he seems like the only one out there willing to fight back.

His combativeness no, his record yes. You can’t gloss over the downgrading of the credit rating of New Jersey during his tenure.

Neither yes nor no. Krispy Kream will not be a factor so whatever he does won’t mean anything.
