Volcano erupts in Alaska
FOX 29 ^

Posted on 11/15/2014 4:57:27 PM PST by John W

Airplanes are being warned to avoid airspace near an erupting Alaska volcano as it spews ash 30,000 feet above sea level.

The National Weather Service said Saturday ash is being blown to the west and northwest of Pavlof Volcano.

Pavlof began erupting three days ago, pushing lava out from a vent near its summit. On Friday, the ash cloud reached 16,000 feet.

Alaska Volcano Observatory Geophysicist Dave Schneider says the eruption intensified at 6 a.m. Saturday, sending the ash cloud higher.

Oh just great...more particulates in the air to make it colder and snowier for Jan. and Feb. Uh...who knows we just might see another Little Ice Age come spring...

“apparently this isnt the first time in recent memory that this puppy has blown”

Everytime you ring a bell Pavlov’s dog salivates, and Pavlof’s volcano erupts...

More carbon dioxide just went into the atmosphere than Obarry and all of his UN playmates could EVER think of "reducing".

Frigging fools.

And IT'S ALL NATURAL!

given the volcanoes relative proximity to Human Pavlov’s home country...I have to wonder if the Spelling of Pavlov...might actually be Pavlof in Russian.

Very probably. Alaska was Russian before it was American.

Lava: it’s 100% all natural! Don’t settle for any cut-rate magma, ask for Lava by name!

This message brought to you by the ring of fire lava growers association.

I grew up in Cold Bay and we had a great view of Pavlov from our living room. Some nights you could see it glowing.

St. Helens was one that I was fortunate enough to be able to climb - before it blew its top. They had an area called “Ape Canyon” where there were (allegedly) Sasquatch sightings.

Did Ape Canyon get wiped out by the St. Helens eruption?

As I recall it was on the southwest side so it shouldn’t have been affected (but I’ve never been back since it erupted).

What new regulations does the occupier of the Oval Office have planned to force the volcanoes to reduce green house gases and particulates? What will he do if they don’t comply?
