Russian propaganda is hilarious to read.
I hope Putin is enjoying these low oil prices courtesy superior American ingenuity.
You better start a war commie. You’re going down hard.

"The more a radio-electronic system is complex, the easier it is to disable it through the use of electronic warfare." Translation: The more information you give us about your defenses the easier we can overcome them.

Windows based, right? The blue screen must have been a surprise. The old stuff didn’t require software. Hardening included metal covers over the vacuum tubes to keep them from vibrating out of their sockets.
In the past, destroyers were expendable. Now with so few and so many eggs in one basket, the Navy has doubled down on the failed McNamera strategy. Gee wizz has gotten the best of us. Networking is nice. It shouldn’t be essential.

Amusing article.
The basics of the allegation are so very wrong as to be laughable.

Unfortunately the development of such new high tech gadgets are the only kind the Pentagon wants to fund.

This is bullshit cooked up by the Russian media and passed off as fact by morons. The plane came within 1000 yards but did not fly over the ship, and the return to port was scheduled.

The State Department acknowledged that the crew of the destroyer USS Donald Cook has been gravely demoralized ever since their vessel was flown over in the Black Sea by a Russian Sukhoi-24... Because the Defense Department was too demoralized to announce it?

They wanted to hurt us, we were so scared. My recruiter said this was just a cruise then free college. I want out ...

Every word of this article is true. I was on the USS Donald Duck when it happened.

The article failed to mention any statistics on this year’s grain harvest as compared with last year.

Roget that.
Nephew is on Donald Cooke - pissed off but certinly not demoralized.
Pissed off because his CinC is a Marxist pantload and they have to take abuse like this
I doubt very much the Russians could disable a modern American warship.
