Federal wildlife officials have granted protection to the Gunnison sage grouse, a move that could to bring restrictions on oil and gas drilling and other land uses to preserve the bird's habitat in Colorado and Utah.
...
They're related to the greater sage grouse, which is at the center of a separate and larger debate over federal protection across 11 Western states.

“F”ing EPA.....”F”ing Obama!
The Interior Department is determined to cripple America’s energy independence by banning fracking through the back door.
Naturally
TASTES LIKE CHICKEN!...............................
Surprise
Our new Congress needs to start issuing ‘Legislative Orders’, akin to Executive Orders, overturning Eboma’s SHUT DOWN OF AMERICA. ANY parcel of land can be rendered off limits simply by finding a critter and deeming it ‘protected’. This is a favorite trick of the NWO UN cabal and their puppet Eboma, in furtherance of the Agenda 21.
Defund the agencies responsible for INVENTING these “endangered” things.
Their categorization as a distinct “species” is almost always bogus, as is the claim of being found in a limited territory.
It’s worse than declaring Red Headed boys a separate “species”.
The F&WS is falling right in line with enviro-nazis just as the EPA has for many years.
They want to curb our energy independence so we can be dependent on those who put Obie through Columbia and Harvard Law.
With all due respect to mom & pop, as a consequence of the parents of the owners of the land use companies in Colorado and Utah not making sure that their children where taught about the federal governments constitutionally limited pawers, the owners of the companies are evidently not able to argue the following simple points to stop the federal governments constitutionally indefensible mischief.
More specifically, and as mentioned in related threads, the Founding States had made the first numbered clauses in the Constitution, Sections 1-3 of Article I, to clarify that all federal legislative powers are vested in the elected members of Congress, not in the executive or judicial branches, or in non-elected bureaucrats who are calling the shots with respect to protecting wildlife in this case. So Congress has a constitutional monopoly on federal legislative powers whether it wants it or not.
But by delegating federal legislative / regulatory powers to non-elected government bureaucrats, corrupt Congress is wrongly protecting federal legislative powers from the wrath of the voters in blatant defiance of Sections 1-3 mentioned above imo.
And whats arguably worse than Congress unconstitutionally delegating regulatory powers to faceless government bureaucrats is the following.
With the exception of the federal entities indicated in the Constitutions Clause 17 of Section 8 of Article I as an example, entities under the exclusive legislative control of Congress, the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to protect intrastate wildlife, the states uniquely having the 10th Amendment-protected power to do so. So not only is corrupt Congress wrongly delegating regulatory powers, Congress is delegating powers that the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, in the first place.
What a mess! =^(
Range is over 11 states.
Yep, the little suckers will be gone any day now...
.
We’re being sucker punched by that ‘species’ act. We need to have it changed to an endangered genus act.
When you have a court that says black is white, what do you do. Blame the attorneys arguing in it? That is manifestly foolish.
It’s a cute little bird, but it would be cheaper to dedicate a dozen zoos to it than what they are talking about here.
Are they edible?
Am I being insensitive?
5.56mm
It's all politics. Just ridiculous.
Now it's only a matter of time for the greater to make the list. And that's when the you-know-what is gonna hit the fan!
Thanks for the Ping!
You’re so right, FRiend.
