On MSNBC Tuesday, Gruber told Ronan Farrow that he spoke inappropriately when he made the comments, which surfaced this week in an online video.
The comments in the video were made at an academic conference, Gruber said. I was speaking off the cuff and I basically spoke inappropriately and I regret having made those comments.

The fact that a large amount of voters are stupid doesn’t make it okay to lie to them or those voters who aren’t stupid for that matter. Lying in order to pass a bill should be a crime. Of course voting for a bill you didn’t read and/or didn’t understand should be criminal too. While lying is addressed by the 8th commandment, it’s no less important than the 7 before it nor the 2 after.
They were going to get lotsa "Free Stuff".
What he REGRETS is getting caught on tape.
That is footage of Gruber appearing for the first time in public over this newly discovered content. IMHO Gruber is not properly interviewed by MSNBC. He is actually spoonfed excuses and softball questions by the MSNBC interviewer, Ronan Farrow. No one appears to have been invited by MSNBC to present any opposing point of view. Hence, MSNBC is unreliable as a news source and can be counted upon only if one is looking for propaganda.

propaganda, n
ideas or statements that are often false or exaggerated and that are spread in order to help a cause, a political leader, a government, etc.
It blows my mind that months after the first controversial Gruber Obamacare comment surfaces, another comment surfaces, and it is found by an amateur investigator over the Internet (which coincidentally Obama now proposes to tax heavily)— not by any MSM journalist.
(And I was perhaps being “inappropriate” in the use of “coincidentally” above.)
Unfortunately the USSC shares the sentiment toward the mind of the american voter with Gruber.
yeah, I imagine that to Obama-ites that this guy Gruber needs a one-way date with a lamp post at high speed before he finds another media outlet to open his mouth in front of. Wonder if he is scared yet? If not, maybe he should be. I would be avoiding airplanes and mercedes sports cars if I were him.
The others must have been too stupid to realize it?
He thinks it was inappropriate because it was recorded.
Notice he didn’t say he thought he was wrong.
Truth is always inappropriate to a liberal. Always.
Ronan Farrow.... Has he come out of the closet, yet?
To drag out the word “nuanced” in the context of walking back an earlier inoperative comment is a further insult to the American voting public. I mean, shades of Kerry. Can the MSM come up with this stuff and keep a straight face? Ronan Farrow deserves an oscar, not a pulitzer. maybe they should have a new journalism award, but Godwin’s Law interferes with the name I would give it...
Anyway the MSM, when not censoring itself, is parodying itself, trying to come up for excuses for this guy. Sheesh.
Meanwhile, until the MSM starts being honest, “nuanced” seems to be the newspeak for declaring inconvenient truths in public and then needing to void the statements as inoperative later.
Agreed, but they also follow elections. Obama’s popularity has plummeted since Roberts did his gyrating-pretzel dance. Roberts will find it less scary now to rule against The Won. That’s my POV, anyway. Take it for what it’s worth.
‘Ronan Farrow deserves an oscar, not a pulitzer.’
Lol!
+1
Bingo!
The problem is not that he said it, the problem is the ways the law was passed were dishonest and illegal.
It looks like the only thing left is for Gruber to trot out the “I take full responsibility” line, which is supposed to have the magical ability (with loser liberals) to make everybody shrug their shoulders and “move on”.
Gruber’s very existence is inappropriate, an insult to the Constitution and the good people of this Republic.
Translation: I got caught telling the truth.
Total failure of the mental part of the political game. Man can not shut his mouth. Would love to play poker against blabber mouth. He is perfect. If we had to invent someone to play the part we could not find someone better. Thanks Jonathan
