Loretta Lynch, President Barack Obama's choice to replace Eric Holder as Attorney General, would likely sail through confirmation hearings under normal circumstances--i.e. even when Democrats had not gutted the filibuster rule in a cynical act of partisanship, and when the administration had not turned the nation's top law enforcement office into such a politicized and race-obsessed office. She certainly has the right qualifications.
Lynch has served twice as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, and has a long résumé of high-profile prosecutions. Her most recent headline case has been that of U.S. Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY), who was indicted earlier this year for a variety of charges, including hiding $1 million in business receipts from the Internal Revenue Service and hiring illegal immigrant workers, whom he paid in cash, at his restaurant.

We patriots need to unify around the goal of confirming NONE of Ozero's nominees for the rest of his term -- or until this pResident is REMOVED from office.
Her job would be to destroy criminal evidence against her friend, Holder.
Black woman?
Is she gay?
‘Cause the spineless GOPe won’t oppose a card-carrying communist with politically correct plumbing and light reflectivity already. If she also prefers the ladies, it’s all over.
I don’t have any faith at all in the leadership of the republican party. So, yes, I believe they will cave. Sad.
If we’re going to stop being known as “the party of No” then we have to move forward.
Providing she is qualified of course and what makes you think she’s a democrat? Supposed to be a “non-political” appointment. I don’t know much about her other than they were saying on Fox news that she has gone after corruption in both parties and I’m all for that. I’d have to study her further.
I figured he nominated her because she’s a two-fer. If she’s denied appointment it could be either because of the “war on women” or because we’re “racist”.
If the GOP blocks this, the percent of black women that vote democrat could go from 98% to 99% and the GOP could also fall out of favor of the MSM.
At this point, block stall, whatever has to be done to push this into January. Who cares what names they call. IF not we are then stuck with the female version of Eric Holder.
Lynch is also a Harvard classmate of the wife of Eric Holder!
block her butt.
let zer0 recess her during the next recess, but stand tuff GOP Senators.
I’m sick and tired of the race game and all these rich Repubs in Congress who are so afraid of being called racist they will vote for any minority nominee no matter what their record is. Short memories. Do any of them remember the verbal beating then-smart aleck and white Senator Joe Biden gave black Clarence Thomas during his confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court? Joe was never labeled a racist for that one. Why? Cause he’s a futhermucking Democrat that’s why.
And that is certainly a possibility after a cursory search of her stance on issues. She appears to be involved and have a background with Holder and Sharpton.
Also has been given good reports by a couple repubs (and looking back at articles to see who they were), at work so can't spend too much time but yes, it was like McConnell and Graham so take that for what it's worth.
Yes, at least stall until January. It’s not that far away.
Why not? We don’t need any more race pimps.
Unfortunately, you need a quantified reason to block her.
How come every time Conservatives come up with a great organization it immediately sells out to liberals?
> At this point, block stall, whatever has to be done to push this into January.
And then refuse the first nominee. Have to show him that what he get, he gets by asking nicely.

No. The Senate can just never vote on her or vote against her.
We SHOULD be the party of “no.” No to socialism. No to Muslim presidents who were born abroad. No to destroying the country and everything it stands for. No to the Muslim Brotherhood and creeping Sharia Law here in the USA.
Sorry but I disagree. We need to be the party of moving forward and doing great things for America. We need to be sending a positive rather than negative message. We have the majority in House and Senate and we need to use it to further a cause. A cause for individual freedom and economic prosperity. America (particularly Hispanics and Blacks) need to see how much better off they are under Republican majority.
We continue to be the party of no and voters are going to think both parties suck.
