Confusion in Hartford Has Malloy Campaign Heading To Court To Keep City’s Polls Open

Democratic Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s campaign will go to court Tuesday to ask a judge to extend voting hours in Hartford to accommodate voters who may have been turned away from the polls this morning.

Some polling places in Hartford opened at 6 a.m. without a voter list. State Rep. Matt Ritter, D-Hartford, said that he was told by Garey E. Coleman, the Democratic Deputy registrar of voters, that the printer the registrars’ office uses to print its voter lists failed Monday night and there was no backup available.

It’s not clear at the moment how long it takes to print voter lists for all of the city’s precincts with a working printer, but once they were printed, the lists had to be transported from City Hall to all the polling places. Ritter said he did not believe the problem was citywide, but likely impacted five to 10 of the city’s 24 polling places.

....

“Apparently, some of the polling places didn’t have voter lists,” Malloy said Tuesday morning after a rally in Manchester. “We’re trying to wrap our arms around that. Some of the districts may have been without those for the first hour and a half.”

This is an effort to throw some 11th hour chaos into the election for Governor in Connecticut. Eerily similar to the ballot shortage snafu that led to extended voting in Bridgeport in 2012. Extended voting that included just enough votes to push Malloy over the top.

Of course, look at voter lists then keep the polls open to round up Democrats who have not voted so as to exceed the number of Republican voters.

Do they really wait until Monday night before election day to print out voter lists? They don’t do it ahead of time???

No ‘voter list’ - what they mean is that they left off the names of a couple million illegal aliens.

If they do this, there should not be any counting of votes until the every single poll is closed. Otherwise, they will keep the polls open in this district until they know how many votes they need.

Typical Rat community problem. It’s funny how the same problems don’t happen as much in Pubbie country.

Maybe if they bought a backup printer....

Yep.. just enough time to get them over the top. How late do they want to go this time? Midnight?

Keeping thr polls open late is another cheat tactic. They wait to see the count, then they send in the cheaters to vote in the votes they need to win.

**Always seems to happen in Dimocrat areas**

Yes and it’s becoming standard practice EVERY election. I fully expect to see a dozen or more “problems” pop up as poll closing times draw near in tight races. And there will be judges aplenty to aid and abet the thieves.

DAMN Democrats and all filthy anti-American traitors! !!!

Ditto. There is a very detailed checklist that election officials go through days and hours before a polling place opens. If these voter roles were absent, it was by design.

Malloy will keep the Hartford polls open just long enough for him to get the votes he needs.

Guess they decided to switch from Bridgeport this time around.

Well, I voted for Foley, but I have no confidence in anyone caring about the democrats voter fraud, so I expect Malloy to win.
