In case you missed it over the weekend, Republican Joni Ernst is up by seven points over her Democrat opponent Bruce Braley in Iowa's U.S. Senate race according to a new poll from The Des Moines Register.
Joni Ernst has charged to achieve a 7-point lead over Democrat Bruce Braley in a new Iowa Poll, which buoys the GOP's hope that an Iowa victory will be the tipping point to a Republican takeover of the U.S. Senate.

When did I say that Scott Brown is a carpetbagger? He has long had a second home in NH and made it a full-time home last year.
You said that white women in NH were voting for Brown because he’s “a hottie”—presumably you were making fun of Democrat excuses for how Brown made up his big deficit in the polls—and I replied that if that’s what it takes for him to defeat Shaheen, so be it. There are a million reasons why candidates win elections, and how they look usually plays a part in that—had Obama looked like Congressman Bobby Rush, he never would have been elected to the U.S. Senate, much less to the presidency.

Jeanne Shaheed is a carpetbagger, too. She moved to NH in 1973 with her activist husband. They ran a jewelry store that had some legal problems. Typical RAT family business.
