Somebody's Flexin' Maxine!

So I learn from my students that the new descriptive term for showing someone up is “flexing”—I suppose a reference perhaps to what body builders do in a gym? Not sure, and I’ll make a point of asking for a more complete explanation and proper usage guide in class next week.

But even before then, it appears someone is flexin’ ol’ Maxine Waters, the openly socialist Democratic Congresswoman from south central Los Angeles. Whoever is behind these, I approve:

You can't just snag a favorite picture from a desktop folder...it has to be hosted someplace on line to be posted here.

Best bet is to save the image to an image hosting service, I use Photobucket. In Firefox right click and select "Copy image location", in Safari right click and select "Open image in new tab" and copy the address in the address bar. Other browsers have similar tricks.

What would happen if small bands of indy conservatives secretly and anonymously stuck posters up in every major city all across the country?
I would love to see this phenomenon spread beyond California (and Michigan).
It would drive the Administration nuts.

Doing it independently without leadership is exactly the way to go in my opinion. The same goes for all kinds of activism.

There is obviously a place for top down organized activism but that can be targeted and countered. Leaderless activism pops up, makes a statement, then disappears before the left can react to it. It keeps them nervous and off balance.

don’t worry, she can’t actually read. She will probably be flattered seeing such a large image of herself and think it is more adoration.
