The Pentagon brass placed in charge of implementing Obamas war against ISIS are getting fed up with the short leash the White House put them on.
Top military leaders in the Pentagon and in the field are growing increasingly frustrated by the tight constraints the White House has placed on the plans to fight ISIS and train a new Syrian rebel army.
As the American-led battle against ISIS stretches into its fourth month, the generals and Pentagon officials leading the air campaign and preparing to train Syrian rebels are working under strict White House orders to keep the war contained within policy limits. The National Security Council has given precise instructions on which rebels can be engaged, who can be trained, and what exactly those fighters will do when they return to Syria. Most of the rebels to be trained by the U.S. will never be sent to fight against ISIS.

There is no clearer evidence that Obama’s heart is not in the fight against the Islamic State than the dangerous limitations he has placed on our military commanders in the field. The Islamic State has attracted Jihadis from all around the world. They have committed unspeakable atrocities against Christians and Muslims alike. And they have threatened the US and our allies. It is only a matter of time before they escalate and broaden their war against the civilized world. Yet Obama dithers and prevaricates . He is putting every single one of us in danger.
LBJ II
The adminstration screwing the Kurds is obvious indication of their intentions!
This is the same thing that screwed us in Vietnam - Johnson and McNamara were picking targets from the basement of the Whitehouse.
Hey, Obama is just like Hitler in micromanaging the military, only dumber and more psychotic.
This kind of micromanagement gets US warriors killed. It is founded in principles of political risk aversion rather than battlefield success. The comparison to LBJ nails it. Furthermore, the stance this administration takes vis-à-vis allies or potential allies reinforces just how dangerous it is to befriend the US. If in doubt, go back through our history of foreign affairs for the last century. Still fresh in my mind is how we abandoned our allies in Vietnam, leaving the South Vietnamese to fend for themselves and at the same time condemning our Montagnard friends to genocide at the hands of the NVA.
If you are pro-war, always think about who is executing that war before you stare your position.
All our military heroes who gave their lives, were maimed, injured in defense of freedom in the middle east and how did the majority of the American people thank them? By making the enemy their commander in chief who not surprisingly threw away everything they sacrificed for. Probably the most disgusting thing this country has ever done when it comes to the military and why I will never ever have any respect for someone who voted for this Islamic piece of rat slime posing as our POTUS.
Obama does not micro manage anything. Who is doing it for him?
Of course the fundamental problem is the liberal elitist/fascist mindset - they actually believe they know best for everyone on everything. Scary form of self-aggrandizing mental illness.
The objectives are different between the White House and the military. The former wants to bring the USA to its knees.
He has surrounded himself with those who will carry out his policies without question. There should have been a big stack of stars on the pResident’s desk from all the military leaders who resigned in protest, but crickets. Disappointing. Only now, after six years of gross mismanagement, are some military leaders beginning to speak out, and their voices are only whispers when they should be shouting.
I don’t believe any Democrat Administration has been able to even half ass manage a war or major conflict since FDR. (Truman essentially took over FDR’s Administration for the remainder of WWII)
Amen, brother!
Obama hates the military - looks like they’re even...
The answer to your question is in this video...but some may miss it...somehow.
