ORLANDO, Fla. - A federal grand jury is expected to hear testimony Wednesday surrounding the George Zimmerman case.
The hearing is related to whether Zimmerman violated Trayvon Martin's civil rights when he shot and killed the unarmed teen in Sanford in 2012.
At least one witness has been subpoenaed to testify. That man is believed to be Zimmerman's former neighbor, Frank Taaffe....

Sucker punching the Neighborhood Watch is NOT a “civil right”
Taaffe stood by Zimmerman throughout his trial..
So, this Taaffe guy... what exactly did he "witness"... he watched the trial on TV?
Need to show the peeps that they are going to take out whitey, brings out the vote don’tcha know.
Turncoat neighbor. Probably had a friendly visit from someone in Obola’s administration.
Once again:
Obama is half White. He is called the first Black President.
Zimmerman is half White. He is called a White racist.
It’s time White American got of it’s ass and starting playing the same game other races do.
I don’t like it, but it has to be done or else.
(Grand) Jury Nullification
If there is even a hint of unfairness, there will be a lot of unhappy people.
Zimmerman sounds like a bit of an idiot (post trial). But that doesn't make him racist.
Obama had an opportunity to bring people together. That was his promise and he has done exactly the opposite. He has squandered his opportunity by pitting one group against another for political gain.

Climb into the pressure cooker he’s been living in since the Winter of 2012 and see how you’d do.
I see this as an injustice, through the abuse of the courts
and another ploy to please those who do not like the verdict from the jurors.
Great links. Thanks. I didn’t realize he has a Black Peruvian in his lineage. Yikes.
Yes, his mom is from Peru. I still haven’t figured out why he didn’t move there years ago. I would think he has dual citizenship.
Noting that civil rights is not a constitutional term, the feds having no express rights amended to the Constitution by the states to apply to the Zimmerman issue via the 14th Amendment (corrections welcome), I suspect that Democrats are behind the media noise concerning Zimmerman and Ferguson issues, possibly hoping to win votes for next Tuesday.
I realize some folks think he should move out of country to protect himself, but I wouldn’t want to move to Peru. I doubt you would either.
Yes ye has ancestry there, but he’s acclimated to the U. S. It seems reasonable to think he wouldn’t want to move there
I’m not saying this to trash your premise, because I think there is some rationality to it. Ultimately I can’t agree though.
Really?! These jerks are bringing THIS up again?
Internal polling must REALLY suck for the democraps if they are getting this desperate. It must suck so bad that they don’t believe their “Get Out the Fraudulent Vote” efforts can overcome the millions of Americans who are just plain sick of their BS...
I’m of German/Italian heritage, but I have ties through a life-long friend in (redacted — in South America). If I was subject to this garbage, I’d have thought about bailing years ago.
Then again, I’m a Texan in Texas, so I’d probably count on Texas and my fellow Texans to do the right thing. Unfortunately for Mr. Zimmerman, he does not have that option. Sigh.
PS And yeah, he has made some mistakes. Few people would not have given the years long ordeal he has been put through.
I understand your comments, and I pretty much agree with you.
Look, I think he has used less than stellar reason when it comes to his deportment. He has been under the spotlight though. Many people would have done what he has and slid under the radar. He couldn’t.
The conflict is what brings out the vote. Whether they actually "take out Whitey" or not is a secondary concern.
So was Mr. Taaffe lying before, or is he lying now?
