I realize some folks think he should move out of country to protect himself, but I wouldn’t want to move to Peru. I doubt you would either.

Yes ye has ancestry there, but he’s acclimated to the U. S. It seems reasonable to think he wouldn’t want to move there

I’m not saying this to trash your premise, because I think there is some rationality to it. Ultimately I can’t agree though.

I’m of German/Italian heritage, but I have ties through a life-long friend in (redacted — in South America). If I was subject to this garbage, I’d have thought about bailing years ago.

Then again, I’m a Texan in Texas, so I’d probably count on Texas and my fellow Texans to do the right thing. Unfortunately for Mr. Zimmerman, he does not have that option. Sigh.

PS And yeah, he has made some mistakes. Few people would not have given the years long ordeal he has been put through.

I’m with you on not wanting to move to Peru. However if it came down to living in prison in the United States, which it has, when remains the only unanswered question, I would opt to living free in Peru. Florida’s own Attorney general, the one and only Pam Bondi led the charge to lynch him.
