The clock is running out for Democrat Mark Pryor to keep from losing his U.S. Senate seat in Arkansas to Republican Congressman Tom Cotton.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Arkansas Voters shows Cotton with 51% of the vote to Pryors 44%. Four percent (4%) like some other candidate in the race, and two percent (2%) remain undecided.

It’s looking good over there in Arkansas. Tom Cotton has found his voice and the people are responding.

Arkansas really went red. Last election Blanche Lincoln, Senator(D) was defeated. Now it looks like we may have another.

From a Rasmussen poll no less.

Demos in AR are going to be really mad on November 5 if this poll is right. Desha, Chicot and the little countries of the southeast may not matter any more.

Heard on local radio news this afternoon that the U of A just released a political poll for Arkansas:
For US Senate:
Cotton (R) 49%
Pryor (Incumbent) (D) 36%
==
I was so stunned that I missed the numbers for the governor’s race, but I think they said Hutchinson (R) is ahead of Ross (D).

UA's Arkansas Poll shows broad Republican sweep at polls
The University of Arkansas's Arkansas Poll was released early today and it showed broad Republican preferences among likely voters in major election contests, including Tom Cotton over Mark Pryor for Senate (49-36), Asa Hutchinson over Mike Ross (50-39) for governor and generic Republican preferences in congressional and legislative races.

Arkansas really went red.
The last time Pryor was up for reelection, both senate and 3 of the 4 rep seats were held by Democrats.
This time, one senate and all 4 rep seats are held by Republicans.
