M.D. Kittle at Watchdog.org's Wisconsin Reporter scooped everyone covering the Badger State Governor's race on Tuesday when he reported that Democratic candidate Mary Burke's resumé is not what her campaign's web site says it is.
Burke's campaign bio claims that she "played a central role in Treks expansion as the Director of European Operations." Kittle found "multiple former Trek executives" who told him that, in Kittle's words, she "was fired by her own family following steep overseas financial losses and plummeting morale among Burkes European sales staff." The real question to me is why it took until a week before Election Day to learn this.

Imagine if McCain had revealed some of the opposition research the GOP no doubt had about Obama in 2008 instead of refusing to go there.
Remember how the Dems held onto that DUI story about George W Bush until the weekend before the election? Dirty tricks, yes, but it is how the game has to be played. Bravo again to the Scott Walker camp for teaching the rest of us how it's done.
Seems to be a trend. obola wasn’t vetted, either.
AP admits that they failed to “vet” Mary Burke before nomination.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Oh, my goodness! It is worth going directly to the link and reading this whole, highly colorful, sarcastic, essay on the incompetence of the press and the Democrats.
Excellent point about her running mate, MGM. I couldn’t pick him out of a line-up if I needed to. I have not seen the guy. Anywhere. Have you?
Burke also has limitless CASH for the campaign, as few, ‘One Percenter White Wine and Brie’ Madistan Dems would pony up for such a LOSER. She’s written checks from her Trust Fund totaling $5 million so far.
I cannot BELIEVE her family hasn’t cut her off. She’s also reported to be a really nasty beotch to her ‘underlings...’ which would be, ‘We The Taxpaying People’ of Wisconsin.
She is SO out of her league. If elected, I, personally, will start the recall petition myself!
Unfortunately, even then, she’d have a year to wreak havoc. She can’t be recalled until 1/1/2016. Remember the pre-New Years’ signing parties?
Ah, yes. I still promise to start the process as soon as I’m legally able! :)
And Walker’s campaign couldn’t find it out either? Not a good job by Scott’s people..
“Vetting??? That’s something we do to Republicans...”
