Well past time for any number of people to get outta Dodge.

The future of Ferguson is not bright.

Look at Detroit post 1967...

How about “Reforming” the criminally, politically motivated jerks that started this whole fiasco?

Oh and the divisive pols who fanned the flames?

Are you listening, Gov. Nixon?

The fact that CNN has been pushing updates, and not the local press much...I’d say it’s the AG’s staff talking.

I think they are getting prepared for a massive burn-down episode. What’s left at the end....will be rolled into St Louis proper, and the bulk of residents will find some way to move on and leave the area.

The police chief in Ferguson, Missouri, is expected to step down as part of the effort by city officials to reform the police department, according to government officials familiar with the ongoing discussions between local, state and federal officials…

Don't bother with reform, it's wasted effort anyway. Disband the department and contract with St. Louis County Sheriff for police coverage.

Officer Wilson’s days as a cop are over. Best he can hope for in the future is lost stock guard at Walmart. No police force will hire him. He can change his name and move to Montana, and they will find him when he starts working for the Podunk PD. He will never have a moment’s peace. The commies never forget and if an issue can be drug up 25 years later, they will drag it up.

And in spite of the grand jury’s recommendation the “new chief” will still indict Wilson.

Although, there is hope. Holder hasn’t brought charges against Zimmerman, yet. Even though it looked likely.

Chiefs can't indict. The PA and DA and IG don't want to touch this whith a 10 foot pole.

Perhaps the fine folks of Ferguson (have ANY of them supported the police?) should police themselves.

I can't imagine why anyone from outside would want to. Looking from the outside, it seems that it's the Governor that botched it, beyond repair.

If so, that would mean a large National Guard presence - with plenty of magazines and fixed bayonets - is standing by.
Is there any proof of that?

This makes little sense...the Chief was enabling the “protestors” and seen as being on their “side”...

Firing him seems to be the antithesis of attempting to “keep things calm”.

I am firmly of the opinion though that the Chief does need to go...he undermined and compromised any credibility he may have had when he “sided” with the populace and not the rule of law.

Just once I wish people would take a stand against this bull-stuff!

The police did nothing wrong. Why should the chief resign?

Let me guess, some black affirmative action Leftist will be trotted out to pacify the few with the loud mouths.
