Hillary Clinton: Corporations and Businesses Don’t Create Jobs (They Don't?)
Townhall.com ^ | October 26, 2014 | Michael Schaus

If you’re looking for proof that anyone can become anything in this nation, just look at Hillary Clinton. Hillary managed to utter a profoundly mind numbing statement at a recent Democrat Rally in Massachusetts. (Isn’t that the only kind of rally allowed in the People’s Republic of Massachusetts?) In fact, before writing this column, it took me a while to fully register what I was hearing from the former First Lady. According to the Free Beacon:

Clinton defended raising the minimum wage saying “Don’t let anybody tell you that raising the minimum wage will kill jobs, they always say that.”

No… That’s not the worst part of her speech. But it’s a good introduction to where this out-of-touch Liberal elite was headed with her statements. Even Democrat Charlie Crist has stated that a higher minimum wage will undoubtedly kill jobs – but it’s a price he’s willing to pay (because it will likely not cost him his job).

Of course raising the minimum wage will kill jobs, discourage some hiring, and crunch some already tight small-business budgets. Even the Socialist Utopia of Seattle acknowledged the difficulty that a higher minimum wage will impose on small businesses. Due to the economic reality of increasing the minimum wage, Seattle decided to implement its new $15 per hour wage on small businesses at a slower (and more relaxed) rate than other businesses. In fact, the entire debate over Minimum wage seems to be a debate over increased earnings versus job growth and preservation.

But, as mentioned above, this wasn’t the most audaciously mind-numbing moment of Hillary’s speech. In a time when Americans are struggling to find jobs, raising the cost of labor seems like a mildly idiotic initiative to propose; but she trudged “forward” into an oblivion of idiocy with reckless abandon:

Hillary Clinton: Corporations and Businesses Don't Create Jobs

“Don’t let anybody tell you that it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs.”

Really? You mean the people that scour applications, set wages (based on the value of labor as a function of revenues produced), and actually employ people aren’t creating jobs? Well… That’s a relief. I guess we can just stop worrying about getting the economy going, because (apparently) our benevolent government of well-intended progressives will provide for us. </SarcasmFont End>

The statement hardly merits a deconstruction, given its patently obvious disconnect from common sense. But… I needed to write a column; so let’s press ahead anyway:

Has the Democrat Party really devolved to the point where they don’t believe private business has any worth in the economic prosperity of the nation? I guess someone should ask Hillary a pretty simple question: If businesses don’t create jobs, why do so many people send in applications? I mean, sure… You can legitimately believe that there is a role for government in creating an environment conducive to business growth (and therefore job creation); but at the end of the day only one sector of America is responsible for wide-spread prosperity and employment. And that sector is mostly comprised LLCs, Sole Proprietorships, and other IRS designated “businesses and corporations”.

In fact, Hillary, we should take this one step further: Every job in America (including the parasitic moochers we tend to have trolling around the Capitol building in DC) exists because of the prosperity of private businesses and corporations. After all, the wages of every worker in America is funded by the profits generated by organized entities that engage in commerce for private gain (AKA: businesses).

Sure… It’s pretty obvious (to everyone except a Clinton) that a person working at Walmart has that job because of Walmart’s decision to hire them. But even government jobs are funded by the taxes paid by the private sector, and the employees of private enterprises.

So really, Hillary, only corporations and businesses have the ability to create jobs. Aside from using shorter words, and some “color-by-number” illustrations, I’m not too sure how much simpler we can make this for you...

No Hitlery and the left do: litigious attorneys, drug dealers legalized, affirmative action coordinators, and environmental carpers.

Of course they don't. Non-profits do.

Without Non-profits, where would the taxes come from that build our roads and bridges and schools and.......wait a minute....how much in taxes does Bill and Hill's Excellent Non-Prfit, the Clinton Global Initiative, pay every year?

Anyone with a family member suffering from Alzheimer’s can tell toy that sometimes it is an insidious disease. The afflicted think they are normal as they ever were and just begin babbling strange things, never once realizing how crazy they sound..

Let us not forget: This is a woman whose entire experience with corporations involves committing insider trading and holding no-show board appointments. No wonder she doesn’t understand what they do.

What she said was probably meant as some kind of derivative of Obama’s ‘You didn’t build that business - somebody else did’.

She probably figures it worked for him so maybe she’ll give it a try.

Then do I run my work as an electrician all by myself? This woman’s logic is beyond anything I have ever heard in terms of absurdity.

With Robert Byrd and Chochran, we see that the uniparty will in fact leave medically and mentally unfit people in power and fight to keep them there so I have no problem believing that they would cover Hillary’s slide in order to get her into the presidency.

Anything dems say sounds delusional anyway so it’s hard to tell which is just their policies and which is a legit mental issue.

Great BS political speech about coporations and such, but both Republican liberals and Democrat liberals take money from corporate elites and do what they want.

Only 5 percent of the GOP are real conservatives not subservient to the business elites that want bigger government like the European Union to smooth business, easy immigration across sovereign borders for cheap labor, not to mention their liberal positions social issues like abortion or gay marriage....

NO MORE VOTES FOR RINO INCLUDING ANY RINO THAT IS NOMINATED TO RUN AGAINST HILLARY IN 2016.

You Knooooow! They managed to train her to keep that looney smile on her face all the time in case she’s caught by a camera. She still can’t learn to drop her “you know” tic, though.
