Remains found in a rural Virginia area have been identified as those of missing University of Virginia student Hannah Graham, authorities said Friday. The Medical Examiner’s Office in Richmond said the remains discovered Oct. 18 about 12 miles from campus were those of Graham, who vanished from central Charlottesville on Sept. 13 after a night out with friends.

I remember a Johns Hopkins grad student going missing en route from Baltimore to Charlottesville back @ 1995. I believe she was last seen near Culpeper. This guy was too young then, so there could well be another perv in the general area.
Whites don’t riot. They put teddy bears and flowers and candles on makeshift shrines and have meaningless candlelight vigils which are really more about themselves than about the victim. We have developed a culture of obsessive mourning. Sorry about the cynicism, but that’s about where it is in this country.
I have a recurring thought: Matthews might be able to plea out for life in prison by admitting to the murders of the 2 women who went missing last summer AND showing where he put the bodies. Too late to plea now on Hannah’s murder. But often the prosecutors will take the DP off the table if the perp will lead them to bodies from other murders.
If Hannah’s remains are really skeletonized due to vultures and weather there may be no DNA tying her to Matthews. If so, and no witnesses come forward he may skate in a trial due to absence of hard evidence. So far the only evidence released by the authorities is circumstantial. Even though there was video of him with Hannah the night of the disappearance it doesn’t prove he killed her. If the police have no better evidence of him with the other girls, his attorney may be advising him to hang tough.
Remember OJ walked. In today’s world anything is possible particularly when there are racial overtones.
IF he is the perp, he does not deserve any chance of the DP being taken off the table. None. Truly, I struggle with this as a Christian but there comes a time when a line must be drawn and what is truly bad is removed from us...completely.

Is it possible that from September 13/14 thru October 18 there’d be only skeletal remains? That would suggest he didn’t even try to bury her in a shallow grave, but just left her dead body out there.
The local authorities DID empty out Matthews’s apartment before getting him extradited from TX, so it’s possible there are traces of her DNA that were found in his apartment. I certainly hope they have the goods on this guy.
He was just charged with intention to murder and rape of another girl who lived through it all and they have his DNA match from a young girl that was murdered.They are checking on lot’s of things.This is going to take awhile.

They’ve already linked him by DNA to the Morgan Harrington murder and another rape / attempted murder.
And they are still doing it, as of this morning...
Yeah, just heard it on national radio.
I think they already charged him in Hannah’s case with attempted abduction with intent to defile before her body was found. It makes me wonder if they have evidence of a link to her from his apartment or car.
