The situation in Canada is still developing and many reports regarding the violence in Canada are unconfirmed, but what is known is that at least one police officer was wounded when a shooter attacked him at the war memorial in Ottawa. What was described as a lone gunman then entered Canadas parliament building where this person engaged in a firefight with police before he or she was incapacitated.
It seems that early reports which indicated the attack on parliament was the work of a lone gunman were inaccurate. At least one Canadian police official told an MSNBC anchor that multiple suspects were involved in the initial incident. He described the attackers as numerous.

LOL! good one
How dumb.... if terrorists get to the building... it's already TOO late... Just SHUT DOWN the border already!!!!
It was a response to a video.
ISIS? Most likely. Islamic terrorism for sure. All muslims are suspect!
Yes, 2 soldiers are now dead. The first was killed on Monday. A third soldier received minor injuries.
I’m looking at the tweets - much more info coming from people who are on scene.
I do remember that story. I also remember that there has been absolutely no follow up.
The Canadians ramped up their threat level to medium yesterday. Military bases were put on alert. I understand that much of this affected area is on lockdown now.
At this point, news and police sources are saying that no attack took place at the nearby shopping centre and it remains unknown how many participants are on the loose, aside from the dead attacker. FWIW no news coverage of any ongoing activity for the past half hour and lock-down situations being changed to status quo.
I had seen the interviews on television stating that Rouleau the convert to Islam, was previously counselled by police. Later he ran down two soldiers in Quebec as everyone knows.
It was stated the authorities had 90 suspected would be radical Islamists on their lists. The statement was made that the law does not allow arrests for one's wacky views. Rouleau was number 90. It will be interesting to find out if the Parliamentary terrorists are on that list. Still more interesting if drastic action will be taken against these remaining psychopathic individuals.

See what happens when you don’t ban Pop Tart guns.
Guarnateed our administration will ignore it this close to election day.
I’ve been listening to Canadian news reporting all morning.
A couple things I’ve learned. They had actually, no security at the Parliament Building, except a couple guards, but no security points to screen. You could have walked right into the Caucus rooms before you got to the guards and each room was filled with MPs.
They keep saying that Canadians have believed “jihadism” would never happen in Canada, and they are shocked and know now they must put up more security. They haven’t done, like our media and knee-jerk declare it not to be terrorism. Instead, they are assuming it is terrorism.
The attack on two soldiers in Quebec and then this maybe one of the reasons they’re assuming that. But none of the whishy washy we don’t call it terrorism reporters.
BTW...they just announced that the soldier at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier died.
I’ve been watching/listening to CPAC/CBC/CTV and what I heard was there was a security check at the door but the security guards manning that post weren’t armed.
Not Guilty
How many "sons" does Obama have?!?!?! :O
One would be too any. Deport all moozlums.
I think I was listening to some Fox affiliate in Canada. They kept making the point that if the gunman had known, he could have entered the caucus rooms before encountering the guards...there could have been a blood bath as the caucus rooms were full.
My husband is a naturalized Canadians, so he has lots of family in Canada. I think many did think terrorism would not happen there. It’s almost as if they couldn’t conceive of the idea that someone would want to harm them.
The newscasters all seemed to be completely in shock, but one MP stated it was time for Canada to come into the 21st Century and realize terrorism (actually he used the words radicalized Jihadists) will make them reconsider security measures in the country.
