Why AP isn’t moving stories for every suspected Ebola case
Poynter ^ | Oct. 17, 2014 | Kristen Hare

On Friday, the Associated Press posted an advisory to editors about suspected cases of Ebola, which they’re hearing of more and more.

“The AP has exercised caution in reporting these cases and will continue to do so,” the advisory reads.

Here’s the rest:

Most of these suspected cases turn out to be negative. Our bureaus monitor them, but we have not been moving stories or imagery simply because a doctor suspects Ebola and routine precautions are taken while the patient is tested. To report such a case, we look for a solid source saying Ebola is suspected and some sense the case has caused serious disruption or reaction. Are buildings being closed and substantial numbers of people being evacuated or isolated? Is a plane being diverted? Is the suspected case closely related to another, confirmed Ebola case?

When we do report a suspected case, we will seek to keep our stories brief and in perspective.

or because the Ebola Czar Ron Klaine has issued this to the press.... Even though: "“The White House has informed us that he has not yet officially started and will not be able to attend Friday,” the committee aide told Fox News."

I think its pretty convenient that Obama hires this democrat spin doctor at the same time guidance is issued to report only "confirmed" cases.

I do agree that everytime somebody vomits, it should not be reported. From Friday to Monday it appears there has been a media blackout on negative reporting on Ebola.

I completely agree.

Obama is involved in a re-election in two weeks. Not him personally, but his party, and they are completely on the wrong side about Ebola.

Two weeks people. I hope we don’t end up with a huge problem with Ebola, but it is very political now. The AP is very much supporting Obama. Has for his entire administration.

The AP is simply supporting Obama and the democrats.

Nothing more.

Perhaps the administration sees it as unfair to give Ebola all the credit for disease and death when there are in fact many new sicknesses in this country that they have invited from south of the border...

How long does it take to diagnose a case of Ebola?

Precisely the reason for getting a political hack installed as the Ebola Czar.

Cobble that with this:

U.S. Ebola Crisis Is A Media Myth, Claims Obama
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3217697/posts

[Hugh? NO amount of thermometers would have detected Patient Zero — he had NO FEVER when he flew in. We have nearly a thousand ebola-risks flying in every week due to ‘come on in’ ebola-VISAs. No myth, no ‘if’ — just a matter of ‘when’.]

President B. Insane Ebola can’t possibly know if someone else flew in the SAME WAY, WITHOUT a fever. Therefore, I can say this with certainly: HE’S LYING! He’s as cluesless as we are. This is the most cynical political move in US history, gambling with hundreds of millions of US lives to for the sake of senate seats — and that’s assuming his motivation is not even lower.

Now we know why this got buried:

Woman from Patient Zero’s Apartment Complex falls ill at DART station
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3216869/posts
WFFA News Dallas | October 18, 2014 | WFAA

“DALLAS — A woman who was being monitored for possible exposure to the Ebola virus was reported ill at the Dallas Area Rapid Transit White Rock Station Saturday afternoon. DART spokesman Morgan Lyons said the person fell ill with a low-grade fever at the station in Northeast Dallas after deciding that her quarantine period was over. Lyons said the woman is believed to be a resident of the Ivy Apartments, where Ebola “patient zero” Thomas Eric Duncan became ill after traveling to the U.S. from Liberia. Dallas Fire-Rescue hazardous materials teams were dispatched to the station at 7333 East Northwest...” [snip]

It may be that the Ebola crisis for the USA has past, no thanks to Obama and his buffoons in the federal government.

Now he has two weeks to revise history and convince enough voters that it was all a figment of their imagination.

GOEBBELS’ PRINCIPLES OF PROPAGANDA

2. Propaganda must be planned and executed by only one authority.
a. It must issue all the propaganda directives.

b. It must explain propaganda directives to important officials and maintain their morale.

c. It must oversee other agencies’ activities which have propaganda consequences

13. Propaganda must be carefully timed.
a. The communication must reach the audience ahead of competing propaganda.

b. A propaganda campaign must begin at the optimum moment

c. A propaganda theme must be repeated, but not beyond some point of diminishing effectiveness

Now in the US it takes 2 to 3 weeks to diagnose a case of Ebola. Until after the election.

The MSM ha decided that wide open borders and not reporting new Ebola cases is the safest path forward for the Oligarchy.

I've said this for awhile. There've been suspected cases for awhile, and nothing was reported until one got loose and there was no choice but to inform the public.

Obama's laughing at us, because again, even during a campaign cycle, the 'pubs refuse to attack real issues and articulate to the voters how we've become a nation of constant, undermining fear. Or what precisely they'd do to turn things around.

Patient Zero in Dallas had no fever when he flew in. A repeat of that is inevitable without a VISA restriction.

I get frustrated with republican congress-critters too. They are so slow to get informed, calcitrant. Unbelievable to me sometimes.

And the condom warning for male ebola survivors as well. They can infect women for up to 80 days. That is another ticking time bomb thanks to our loose VISA policy.
