HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) - A new poll shows Tom Corbett is closing in on Democratic challenger Tom Wolf in the final weeks before the November election, but the Republican governor still faces a seven-point gap.
The Magellan Strategies BR survey commissioned by Keystone Report shows Wolf leads Corbett 49-42 percent

TOM WOLF HAS NO IDEA WHY HE HAS NO IDEA ABOUT THE SPECIFICS OF HIS 188% INCOME TAX HIKE

Corbett surrendered on marriage, didn’t he?
I’ll be surprised if Corbett wins. He did screw the pooch with that 28 cent tax on gasoline, but overall, he’ll be better for PA than any Democrat.
Also...found out today that Wolf is going to have Obama coming in campaigning for him. No doubt that this is to turn out the Philthadelphia vote.
If a Republican is anywhere to the left of Ted Cruz or Mike Lee, you can pretty much figure they’re pro-gay marriage in some form or fashion.
Co Corbett!
The Commie Wolf will kill the fracking industry in PA if he’s elected.
Tom Wolf built his business with government contracts and government pension investment money while he was in a position of power under Ed Rendell to do so.
The nice family guy and the jeep thing is total BS, like most things about the jackass party.
Corbett has the added problem of a state AG (Democrat) who picks and chooses which laws she will defend or enforce. She already said she would not defend Pennsylvania's Defense of Marriage Act.

Sadly, the terminally stupid voters in this state will fall for Wolf's tax the rich evil fracking companies rhetoric. They don't realize that if Wolf is elected, (a) jobs in that industry will disappear and (b) those taxes will be passed on to the rest of us.
According to my spouse, Wolf gave off the Corzine Shyster/Investment Banker vibes.
Corbett and PA Republicans have screwed up so much. They have a majority in both houses and can’t pass anything. Privatization of Liquor sales nope. Elimination of the flood tax on liquor nope. Increase the wholesale tax on fuel yep! Raise tax on cigs to benefit the bloated Philly schools, yep. Cave on marriage, yep. Cave to the unions, yep.
Treat intelligent voters with disdain. Yep! Run anti-business adds, yep.
Egads, I am going to have a tough time voting repub, but the dems are such commies.
The Gov’s brand of Republicanism deserves to fail, but the alternative is so much worse...plenty will be staying home.
On a bright note, when the economy fails and there is no food left on the shelves; anywhere, I won't have to worry much about her type after a couple months, ever again.
If Wolf get in, I don’t honestly think economically I will be able to afford living in this state and may wind up leaving. I DO NOT live outside my means and make pretty decent money; however, I am working my butt off to get debt free. If Wolf and his buddies wreck my budget I will be a slave to debt for years. No thanks and PA can wave to my tail lights.
I uses to think this situation was peculiar only to Pennsylvania, but liberal Republicans exist at the national level too now. That's why I gave up my Republican registration. Conservatism in the Republican Party is dead.
But I'm stuck voting for Corbett because the alternative, Tom Wolf, will be a lot worse.
Corbett is a loser but he’s better than Wolf. The late deciders and undecideds are clearly shifting towards the GOP. Just read an article on polls that asked whether or not they were going to use their vote to punish or reward President Obama and in all but one state, Hawaii, by double digits people were planning to punish Obama. I was worried the GOP was just going to throw this election but Obama’s been working overtime to deliver it on a golden platter to the GOP. I won’t be surprised if we take the Senate by more than necessary. Some Democrats that look safe like Warner, Booker, and Franken may just find out that they are taking the hurt from both ends. First they have a depressed vote because of Obama (Obama approval in NJ,VA, and MN is in the low 40s) and then it is depressed further because Democrats assume they don’t need to show up because the race isn’t competitive. If the GOP focus on GOTV the next few weeks in those states they have a good chance at a winning a sleeper race or two. I just gave $100 to Gillespie today and I believe he may just eke it out. Warner is caught up in an FBI investigation.
A Republican poll.
It’s hard to imagine Wolf losing after having such a huge lead, but here’s to hoping.
“...hard to imagine Wolf losing after having such a huge lead,...”
Well... it ain’t over till the day after election day, and almost all of the folks I’ve talked to are voting Corbett. They’ve successfully tied Wolf to Obama round here, so I’m hoping that’s something happening across the state.
Vote Wolf, you get more Obama.
That clever ad about “I hope Wolf raises taxes like he said he would - we have way too much money” and the like may be having some bite - anyhow we like it over here in south Jersey.....
Well, this next week I am shutting down my small business. 21 years going...gone. Regulations have forced a lot of the smaller customers of mine to sell out to large national companies, and the large companies who used to be my customers are shipping the work out of state to be done.
At one point we were a three shift, 25 employee thriving business, but it has been steadily eroding for the last 8 years.
