The U.S. Marines who guarded the sprawling complex in northwest Iraq where Saddam Husseins 1980s war machine churned out some of the most deadly chemical and biological weapons known to man had a name for one especially mysterious bunker: The Dragons Egg.

“I’m curious how all the bed wetting leftists are handling this news? You know, the ones who have done nothing but mock the effort for years now?”
Simple: It’s all Bush’s Fault
Don’t worry, they’re voting the straight (D) ticket.
I have a sister-in-law like that. If Obama’s crazy policies lead to deaths all over the US and in her family, she’ll blame Bush or AGW, and still pull the straight (D) ticket.
Facts have little impact.
Is Dany Targaryen going to walk into a bon fire with them?
We had troops there for years and could have cleaned this place out, but didn't.
Folks, this IS Bush's fault.
Reality has no place in the liberal agenda.
So Bush didn’t lie us into war with Iraq. Saddam had wmd’s.
Will wait for the MSM to ask Dems to apologize for politicizing the Iraq war!
Unbelievably, I heard Greta say ‘but these aren’t the WMD that Bush was looking for, are they’.
Rush’s show today was on this very topic and how Rove is being outed for pushing the Bush administration into a no response strategy.
On Nov. 2, 2008, the Iraqi troops guarding the Dragons Egg were suddenly pulled from the outpost. Hartleys platoon was ordered to clear the compound and members found 40 shells simply lying around outside of the bunker.
What logical reason would exist for more than a decade to not dismantle this and de-weaponize it?
It’s amazing how many families are politically divided.
My parents have four kids (ages 29-39) and we were taught the Bible and how our beliefs dictated our positions on political issues.
Of us four, two are pro life libertarian minded GOP voters (love Cruz) and the other two are just hard core conservatives.
We all married like minded people.
So when we all get together there is no disagreement about who we are voting for, except for some minor instances during the primaries. But even then it’s mostly just us trying to agree on who is the best conservative to vote for. We like to be united as a voting block.
I can’t even imagine if I showed up for a family event and there was an Obama supporter there.
G_d free us from that pudgy little puke.
What's inside. If we didn't address it and the Iraqis who were supposed to didn't address it I'm guessing it's the sort of horribly expensive mess you get when the barrels decompose. You can't even fill the bunkers with concrete because the stuff will get out. Just a guess.
With all the robots we have I'm not accepting that idea. No solution is prefect, but taking one's best shot usually beats doing nothing. It wouldn't be that hard to make an RC drum-bot or one capable of handling shells. With all the money we were spending, I just don't see leaving it there.
Are you kidding me??????
DAMN THAT BUSH! He knew it all along!
Makes one wonder if Rove isn’t a closet Dem?
How do you dismantle somethinq that’s booby-trapped like this apparently was? There must be a way. If IS didn’t know how to do it then the stuff would have exploded onto them.
Also is Bush’s fault for not answering the lies and saddling us with Obama.
Greta is a little loose in the head. It will take a couple of years for it to register.
It was Bush's fault that we went to war based on intelligence reports of Hussein having WMD's.
It was Bush's fault that no WMD's were ever found in Iraq.......
Now It's Bush's fault that there were!
Is there anything in this world that ISN'T Bush's fault?
Take your head out of your ass and wise up.......maybe even smell some flowers.
