It’s amazing how many families are politically divided.
My parents have four kids (ages 29-39) and we were taught the Bible and how our beliefs dictated our positions on political issues.
Of us four, two are pro life libertarian minded GOP voters (love Cruz) and the other two are just hard core conservatives.
We all married like minded people.
So when we all get together there is no disagreement about who we are voting for, except for some minor instances during the primaries. But even then it’s mostly just us trying to agree on who is the best conservative to vote for. We like to be united as a voting block.
I can’t even imagine if I showed up for a family event and there was an Obama supporter there.
It’s that way with our boys. But, the example I used was my sister-in-law. There’s some sibling drama in the family, nothing TV-worthy. The way the sisters related over the years seems to me correlated with their political leanings.
