Five Christian pastors will no longer have to turn their sermons over to attorneys for the city of Houston. Instead, they will be forced to turn over their speeches related to the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance (HERO).
I dont mean to point out the obvious herebut what do those attorneys think a sermon is? Its a speech.
According to an amended motion filed Friday in Harris County, Texas court, the citys attorneys will no longer demand sermons related to homosexuals, gender identity, or Mayor Annise ParkerHoustons first openly lesbian mayor.
The amended subpoenas do require the pastors to turn over all speeches or presentations related to HEROalong with 17 different categories of information.

If anyone wants to hear my sermons all they have to do is come and sit in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings. Idiots.

Some here will disagree with me, but I think that this action by the mayor and her henchmen is close to that point where more than peaceful resistance is justified. waaaay beyond that point...toss out the shades of gray and boil it down to black & white, EVERY edict that spews forth from gubmint at any level is done with the understanding that *resistance* will mean facing the muzzle of a gubmint assault rifle...
*they* started it a looooong time ago...

Oh, they get it all right... they just don’t give a sh*t.
They think it’s “their” time right now, so they’re bold.
People haven’t pushed back - hard - yet.

I would still tell them no and would resist to my death. And that would be my advice to the Pastors. If they decided to enforce the subpoena with the power of the law, then they would be bloodshed.

that picture brings tears of joy to my eyes every time I see it. Those people were ready to die if necessary. %he cowards, bullies, and thugs masquerading as law enforcement were ready to kill them. Then the cowards, bullies, and thugs looked around them and saw they would not be slaughtering unarmed people, as they initially believed. They would also be killed. Faced with that fact, they could not flee fast enough. Those men are true Patriots.
