A trio of House Democrats is calling on President Obama to allow U.S. troops in West Africa to provide direct care to Ebola patients.
The Obama administration has already committed around 4,000 U.S. troops to help fight Ebola in the affected West African countries, but they are performing tasks such as building treatment centers and training local providers, not directly providing care.
Reps. Keith Ellison (Minn.), Karen Bass (Calif.), and Barbara Lee (Calif.) want to change that.

I have a son in the Army Reserve.
When you sign up for service, you are signing a contract which puts your life at risk in the service of your country, and the President is the CIC. It’s a form of indentured servitude, often motivated by a mix of patriotism and monetary compensation.
But, there’s limits, or should be, on what you have agreed to do. It’s not totally slavery. You’re not to obey illegal orders. This is totally outside the boundaries of what I’d expect. They’re taking advantage of temporary slavery contracts to put partially trained and equipped people at unconscionable risk and for minimal benefits to the country.
If this was on the horizon for my son, I’d advise some deliberate dischargeable bad conduct. This isn’t what the service is supposed to be. It’s being ordered about by a politically correct, narcissistic madman.
Yes, but there are lots of black members of the military too. They put them at risk too with this nonsense
I’ll sure as hell publicly disagree and call them the racist, terrorist, bastards they are.
I want them to be forcibly shipped to Liberia and made to help their african brothers and sisters.

I said 3-4 years ago, if I had a son or daughter (especially son) considering joining the military, I would strongly advise them AGAINST it. They will become victims of Obama’s twisted ideas and ideology.

I hope every military person is beginning to understand who their/our enemy truly is.
Bottom line is, in these moron politicians’ feeble conception of military service, military members don’t have rights. No “informed consent” needed.
I think these 4,000 deployed service members are going to eventually be given an experimental vaccine, once it’s developed, to combat ebola. The CDC and FDA will say it’s NOT experimental, because they will rush through their own approval without trials and waiver any pesky waiting periods.
They need a healthy sampling of people to experiment on — what better group than military members that will be ordered to take it (or face a dishonorable discharge)? Besides, they know their medical history already, and have total control of their activities and exposure history.
To add insult to injury they may even be sworn to secrecy after it’s administered, like happened in the Gulf War.
Send their offspring and relations too.
The word for today is, “MUTINY!”
I don’t think that I’d follow such an order. I’d rather serve time in prison than risk that kind of death, let alone risk infecting my fellow servicemen, family and friends.
Who are these galactically stupid jackasses kidding? They should be impeached, or tarred and feathered, just based on this. I suppose that they don’t want any of these folks to be in quarantine upon their return to the US, either.
I think we should bring all USA troops in West Africa home and Send POTUS Obama, his wife Michelle, the entire group of Democrat congress members and all the Democrat Paety low life that work for POTUS, Barack Hussein Muslim Brotherhood/ISIS/Hamas/alQaeda, Obama to West African to treat Ebola patients dying there!!! Shucks...Obama let’s them come here to die and infect the American people!!! Give Obama and his moron CDC Director Frieden, a taste of their own deadly medicine!!!
