I am no scientist.
However, as deadly as this thing is, if it were insect borne, don’t you think it would have been all over Africa by now? When, in reality, it is not geographically wide-spread.
I believe the science of it is that insects do not respire as mammals do. Nor do they ingest the blood in a way that would pass along the virus.

How much have we actually heard about the people who where staying in Duncan’s apartment. How do we know they are ok?
This is all I can think of. There he was in a small place, spewing virus from every end, and they were all sharing his bathroom, bringing him tea, etc. HOW CAN THEY ALL BE HEALTHY? Why doesn’t any news source, even British, find them and do a story on them today?
CNN talking heads FINALLY beginning to get it, and are getting angry, on air.

Do you think if we had imposed travel restrictions a month ago we would be dealing with this, seriously, think about it.

But if you work the logic, there are many, many more insects flying around Africa than there are here. Wouldn’t there be a million cases there by now? As there are with Malaria?
And second, who is going to do this testing? One of the reasons there is not much known about this stuff is that no one wants to be the one to work the needles and what not. No one wants to touch this virus, even in a level 4 habitat.

All quiet, makes me think that they aren’t well. My theory is when they moved them from their apartment, they actually moved them to a place far from the media for isolation. Anything else, we would have television stations broadcasting from their front lawn about the case and their condition.
Ebola should not be a concern for anybody. But apparently the only American who's unconcerned is President Blastocyst Samhain Fartbola. You don't see any Ebola nurses on Air Force One or the Camp David golf course.

at yesterday’s CDC press conference they said that none of Duncan’s family has shown any symptoms, that the most critical period is the first 2 weeks and that on October 19, if they are symptom free, they will be tested and then released from quarantine. they are not keeping secret the condition of his family. It will be amazing to me though, if the woman who slept in the bed with him in the apt with ZERO protective gear, doesn’t come down with it, while the nurses who had at least some form of protection, albeit inadequate, did.
Sorry, not staking my family’s life on your theory.
