The 4th Congressional District race between Mia Love (R) and Doug Owens (D) is tightening a little with about 3 weeks to go until election day.

I don’t get this at all. I thought this race would be in the bag. Could it be that some very reactionary, old-fashioned rural men dislike Love as being too radical a departure from what they believe is an appropriate leader?
I don’t expect her to lose.
Is Mia Love a conservative? Because the GOPErs don’t like them much and would rather see Dems get elected
As far as I know, Mia Love is conservative. I haven’t looked that closely, being preoccupied with work, bills, and more competitive elections.
Irrelevant. She will win whatever. That 9 point lead is not going to shrink
Don’t panic. Mia Love will win and keep on winning. She’s the Democrats worst nightmare. If only the GOP understood conservative populism we could start winning cities.
I am going to donate a few bucks to Mia, I love her
She will win and replace the once-conservative 80 yr old Orrin Hatch whenever/ if ever his seat is vacant.
Well with a name like Mia Love, you don’t need “name recognition”.
I’d vote for that name every time I saw it on the ballot!
Just kidding... Well, sort of.
It doesn’t appear it will be the landslide it should be but I can’t imagine her losing.
“It doesnt appear it will be the landslide it should be but I cant imagine her losing.”
I sure hope you are right.
Those of us who remember Gary Owens, the papa, will vote for Love, even if we know nothing about her.
Look for her 2012 speech at the convention on youtube. She’s amazing!
I just got my ballot in the mail. It will be a privilege to cast a vote for her - 4th district, Utah.
Maybe more of those paid off union workers.
Thanks. When I post a youtube link from the iPad, it doesn’t always work for other platforms.
