I was thinking the same thing.
My mind goes into overdrive and I can be convinced that I have any kind of disease.
My ENT prescribed an ungodly amount of penicillin for a sinus infection. If I had waited one more day before stopping and calling him to get it changed, I imagine the ER folks here would have been wondering about Ebola: sweating, diarrhea, and I was on my way to vomiting.
+1
Right....as well the medication and dosage of whatever given to combat this.....not to mention the individuals own immune system itself. Some will be sicker faster than others and others will walk away from this as well...unfortunately most in Africa don't.
I'm so infuriated with people raising race about this....and the more people make issue about it the less I could care about other races......minorites are squawking about every thing now and they sound all sound like the welfare complainers. No matter what you do to help they'll complain. Frankly if I was a Dr. the last patient I'd want is one of another nationality today.....and especially one without Insurance looking for a reason to sue....and there are more of these then people realize.
They are all flying here now to get the best healthcare the taxpayers of the USA can buy them.
I was halfway thinking it sounded a little sketchy, maybe a little payback, sending him in there unprotected. What’s the old saying, never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by stupidity?
It’s to support breast cancer research month.
It may actually help. We're so motivated to vote, we'll go in a Hazmat suit if we have to. .
Ebola tests don’t become reliable until three days after Ebola symptoms are obvious.
Worse, since most Ebola infected have more than one variant of the Ebola RNA virus (three have been identified), the primary symptom’s that manifest are not consistant.
When can we call you Lazarus?
Judge Jenkins was an early African-American supporter of President Obamas candidacy in 2007-2008 in the Dallas Democratic Party and is running for re-election this November.
....and a member of the Baptist Church....
...would that be the same church that got a $190 MILLION grant to house illegal immigrant children,,,,

As reported earlier today by Kristinn Taylor The Obama administration has awarded a $50 million contract to a charitable group to buy a Texas resort hotel and transform it in to a 600 bed facility for juvenile illegal aliens

....hence the cheezy grin .
Sure he does, and I'm sure he will stop Ebola from spreading to all 57 states.
Or more correctly, “Lazamatazarus”. I think you left out an “a”. But maybe he would have wanted it that way.
Ha, me too !
Ya also gotta love the height/weight requirements the Sheriff's office has apparently waived.

And out of sunlight.
I keep trying to nominate her for Director of the CDC. Very sensible young lady. But the media and PC people will soon destroy her.
Mr.Head, Mr.Sand, meet Steve.
CDC currently owns the franchise on Famous Last Words.
(with a voting share in kneepøds)
Gut tells me this is going to play out poorly for us Obola subjects.
Wondering if fellow FReepers, loved ones and family have got appropriate preps in order?
Judging by developing news, increasing public awareness will result in higher demand / diminishing availability on essential items, ie: N95 / 100 masks, Nitrile gloves, goggles, Tyvek coveralls, cases of water, hand sanitizer, bleach, etc.
As of yesterday a Los Angeles county suburb orange box home center still had a few packages of masks, goggles, gloves and Tyvek coveralls, after I made my personal purchase.
BTW: when cashier asked if I was a painter, I told her the supplies were for Ebola. Her response was: Who’s that?
Just-in-time supply chains are short and MSM is stirring the pot: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/10/08/us-ebola-gear_n_5945544.html
Also, FYI and for prep’s - there’s an article from the NIH that indicates Melatonin may be effective in treating Ebola:

Sure hope this burns out quickly and is much ado about nothing...
Several weeks ago India sequestered and then began monitoring passengers from 2 airline flights arriving from Liberia at 2 Indian airports: what got me was that those 2 flights were bringing in over 200 passengers per trip, mostly Liberian, but everyone onboard having been possibly exposed to EVD.
Then I envisioned flights to other countries similarly unloading 200-plus EVD-exposed passengers into 10-15 major cities across the U.S., Europe and Asia, once or twice a week or more, and maybe we are now beginning to see the results of this wreckless lack of safety protocols.
