President Barack Obama said on Monday his administration was working on additional protocols for screening airplane passengers to identify people who might have Ebola and would step up efforts to make medical professionals aware of what to do if they encounter a case.
Obama made the disclosure after meeting top administration officials involved in attempting to prevent an outbreak of Ebola in the United States.
After a series of missteps involving the handling of a man who arrived in Dallas from Liberia with Ebola, Obama said "we have learned lessons in terms of what happened in Dallas."

Unfortunately, we ain’t seen nuttin yet. Just wait until flu season hits to see what a completely paralyzed nation that battens down the barricades REALLY looks like as millions have symptoms that are much like how Ebola starts off! The trenches of our medical system are woefully unprepared for something like this. And thank you, President Obola for your “fundamental transformation” when flu season hits! Oh, and PLEASE let’s keep those West African shuttles flying back and forth, since obviously it would do no good anyway with your open borders policy. Oh, and everyone? Be sure to vote a straight Democrat ticket in November: they really DO care about you folks, ya’ll hear? After all:

here is a novel idea, if you are not going to put a moratorium on travel from West Africa, shut down all Visas and travel from West Africa until all protocols are in place
Heard a report of a potential rapid screening test, that does not require blood that might be available soon which is THE most hopeful thing I’ve seen in this Cluster F..... Short of that they can screen all they want, with an incubation period of 21 days checking temps and asking people about exposure is next to worthless. This is more “security theater” like our TSA
Right NOW we might be able to get a handle on this by shutting off all air traffic to the region and sending aid in etc. if this spreads much farther that option will go away, then God alone knows where this goes. Might just fizzle, might explode. This is unknown territory with this disease..
