Two state troopers fell from a tree stand Wednesday night during the search for Eric Frein and were injured, according to a state police official.
The troopers entered a wooden tree stand to clear the structure and ensure it was not occupied around 7 p.m. The tree stand was a man-made hunting blind elevated roughly 20 feet off the ground and attached to a tree.
While inside the stand, the floor collapsed and both men fell to the ground.
They were treated by tactical medics at the scene. At the advice of the medics, both troopers were air-lifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital, treated and released. Both troopers are from Troop H, Harrisburg.

I think this survivalist murderer has gopher holes all over the wooded area there, and that x amount of them are stocked with food/drink, ammunition and weapons, medical supplies, and other survivalist equipment. He had lots of time to prepare for his assault, and I believe he did it well. He’s going to be a tough nut to crack.

Folks, it seems as if public sentiment is starting to turn against the police. In the beginning these threads were very pro-get him and kill him, now not so.

Well after going on three weeks of “zeroing in on him”, “contained to one small area”, “he’s getting sloppty now”, etc. one must expect minor setbacks .... fortunate for all that they didn’t shoot themselves.
Yes. I read one story where they had cordoned off an area and were searching it, and the guy was spotted outside the area, necessitating the shifting of the search area.
This could end poorly for LEOs.

I had 6 but gave one away. The neighbors behind me keep asking but I hope to find another place to hunt. I’ve been a little delayed by a health problem. I don’t think I would have any trouble selling them locally if I decide to but I would probably give them away. No shortage of friends, neighbors and relatives here who deer hunt.

I was coming up the hill in a light rain and there in front of me were three deer lying under the tree stand. What a sight. LOL Wish I had my camera.
