(CNN) The partner of Ebola patient Thomas Duncan is quarantined in her Dallas apartment where Duncan became sick with the virus after his trip to Liberia, the woman told CNNs Anderson Cooper.
The woman, who asked to be identified only by her first name, Louise, is quarantined with one of her children under 13 and two nephews in their 20s because they were in apartment when Duncan became ill, Cooper said.
Duncan, a 42-year-old Liberian citizen, is now hospitalized in Dallas.
But Louise remains in her apartment, and shes worried, not knowing what to do and waiting on federal health officials, Cooper said.
She doesnt know how shes going to get food into the apartment. She was told she said maybe the Red Cross would come by. Shes still waiting for that, Cooper said.
Some health officials brought sandwiches last night, but she hasnt had anything today, Cooper said Thursday. Shes certainly kind of at loose ends and is obviously extremely worried.
Coopers interview with Louise will air Thursday evening on CNNs AC360˚.

Some of us are still human (and Christian).
Are we sure she is from Liberia?

That’s a good question. She may not be.
Although I think I read somewhere that she was.
No I have nothing to do with Berkey except I own one. Best $240.00 I've spent in a long long time.
bfl
I have well water, but it wouldn’t hurt to have one, down the road when I have a little extra cash I might invest in one.
Look into it, it will filter 6,000g of tap water but it will also filter pond scum water. No bacteria and no viruses in the filter water. Of course if you are filtering pond scum water you will get a lot less than 6,000g out of the filters.
We're playing "Let's pretend" about everything, ranging from Ebola to ISIS. I just feel as if things are plunging out of control.
We have one. I haven’t been using it so much lately. I hope everything isn’t dried out.
For how many decades have we been over there teaching them to dig water wells and they’ve yet to learn to do it on their own? A young friend went there last year to help build toilets. Toilets!!! When they can’t grasp the minimum basic lifeskills, it’s no wonder they can’t understand keeping their pants zipped prevents most AIDS infections and keeping away from live and dead Ebola bodies greatly decreases infection rates. Then they come here and infect the US and are given voter’s cards. Ok, maybe we’re the dumb ones.
You will probably have to recharge the filters, I am on MUD water and it SUCKS so I use mine daily. Huge difference in the quality of the water. I own a little beer joint and my “girls” insist I bring Berkey water every day. I’ve got bottled water at the bar but they like Berkey better. Gotta keep the girls happy and healthy. lol :)
His “partner”, and supposed mother to at least one of his kids, claims she hasn’t been in contact with any of his body fluids and his sheets are still on the bed.
Urban Texas is nothing like Urban NYC. Yes, we have DART, the public bus system, but nearly everyone has a car. If you don’t believe me, look at the arial views of her apartment complex. Besides, those grown adult men living there could haul in the groceries. Better yet, they could get a job.
Surely, she’s figured out by now what that big white box is in the corner of the kitchen. I doubt she’s still chopping off chicken’s heads by the apartment pool and roasting them over an open pit on her patio.
Not that much difference. Roberts International, Liberia temperature - high 84 and low 73 yesterday. Dallas, TX - high 92 and low 72 with rain storms rolling in now.
Sit down in front of the computer and do an Ebola search. Get that jug of clorox out and start scrubbing down the entire apartment. If she had the sense to put his towels in a bag, why doesn't she have the sense to put the bedding in bags and have the grown adult nephews throw the mattress and box springs onto the patio and tell the CDC to get their act together and burn it all. And the nephews would be doing the same with the carpet DAYS ago.
I didn’t see the interview. Did Anderson Cooper maintain a distance of at least 3 feet?
