CHICAGO Just over a month until Election Day, President Obama is returning to a theme he hoped to make a centerpiece of the midterm campaign: the economy.
Multiple crises overseas, the resignation of the Secret Services director after eye-popping threats to presidential safety, and the first case of Ebola in the United States have all kept Mr. Obama in a reactive mode. But in a speech Thursday at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., the president will go on the offensive and highlight the strides the economy has made since the near-economic collapse he inherited in 2009. He will also make another pitch for a hike in the minimum wage and measures intended to boost job creation....

BULLSHOT!!!
“who ya gonna believe? me or your lying eyes?”
“It looks like they are bringing in the kicker. Well folks, this will really be something. A field goal attempt from the defense’s 25 yard line. A field goal attempt of 85 yards.
Whew..... that might be a record. It is certainly audacious. It is certainly a wild attempt to appear to be a winner. There is one good thing. The wind is against the kick. If it fails, the wind will get the blame.”
Full of sh*t, as usual.
“Ebola in the United States have all kept Mr. Obama in a reactive mode.”
Ebola? What is that dunce doing about that? NOTHING. I would bet that it has been covered in the NIS threat assessment. He uttered his now famous: a very small chance of coming here, comment. That was the level of his reactive mode. Oh, I forgot, he did sign an EO restricting deportations of Liberians, what a guy. Few can say they have been wrong 100% of the time on every issue, this guy is one of the very few.
yeah yeah, the economy is better than you think.
I am not a mooselimb.
I am not a fag.
I love America.
I did not know about targeting by the IRS.
I did not know about Benghazi.
I’m just your basic idiot.
This LIAR just keep em coming from this obammy mookabooker.
Obama wants to bring us down to a Third World country.
Agreed! When bread is over $2 a loaf, milk at nearly $4 a gal, which is higher than gas, TP has tripled in price, all canned goods are higher, and MEAT is out the roof.
Laundry products have also gone out the roof. $7 for a 32 load bottle of laundry soap! With sensitive skin I can’t buy the cheap crap unless I want to spend the day scratching my skin raw.
Lets not get into the issue of shoes or clothes, the prices and styles are outrageous.
We have seen a 1.7% COLA raise for SS, that’s $40 in your wallet, the rest to Medicare. Military pension got a 1% raise. Thanks to RINOS like sen lamar alexander.
And I am seeing more NO NEW MEDICARE PATIENT signs up in my doctors offices, mention Tricare Life, and you may not find a doctor.
That appears to be true.
WHAT has Obama done, which will improve America?
What?
Name one thing, which has improved during his time in office. I’m not saying the GOP is any better, since the entire GOP seems silent about every problem.
But Obama isn’t helping in any way, about anything.
The US economy is better for the ten-percenters that Obama comes into daily contact with. The 90% hoi polloi that he's carefully protected from (well, maybe not so carefully), not so much.
"The peasants have no bread? Let them eat Kobe beef!"-Barack Antoinette Obama
He sounds like an isolated, clueless fool with a speech like that. Too bad some of it can't rub off on Hillary.
Obama has denied American exceptionalism. He has gone around the world more than once apologizing for the US.
And Obama hates White people.
I was hoping that maybe the students would boo him or turn their backs, but then I saw it was Northwestern in Illinois.
They’ll just kiss his ass.
There are definitely many more guns around now. (And probably more Bibles.)
That's because he hasn't read about it in the newspaper yet.
In his defense, he’s been lying since the day he entered public life, and the majority has always drunk the Kool Aid until now.
The American people may just be dumb enough to fall for it! They did in 2012!
Yeah, the economy’s pretty sweet for that 38% of Americans who are Obola’s favored gibsmedats or fedgov trough sloppers.
The rest of us, not so much.
As always, you have to look at the goals and definitions.
People call Obama a failure - he’s not, he’s accomplished most of his true goals including the destruction of the US economy.
People say the economy is worse, because working people are making less, there are more people without jobs, and more people on gov’t assistance.
That IS “BETTER” to someone with Obama’s goals.
The economy is better than you think.
Your friends aren’t really unemployed, not after so many months,
- they are out of the work force.
Prices aren’t really rising,
- packages are just getting smaller.
Ebola isn’t going to disrupt productivity,
- think of all the shovel-ready jobs digging graves.
Employers really are thinking about hiring soon,
- they just say they’re not because they want to surprise us.
And if you like your health insurance, you can keep your health insurance.
