The first patient to be diagnosed with Ebola in the U.S. was identified Wednesday as Thomas Eric Duncan.
Thomas Eric Duncan, identified by a former employer and seen in this undated Facebook photo, is the first Ebola patient to be diagnosed in the United States.
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital sent Duncan home on September 26 despite telling a nurese he had traveled to the United States from Ebola-ravaged West Africa. (ABC)
Thomas Duncan was vomiting wildly outside of this apartment on the way to the hospital.
Yahoo reported:
Two days after he was sent home from a Dallas hospital, the man who is the first person to be diagnosed with Ebola in the United States was seen vomiting on the ground outside an apartment complex as he was bundled into an ambulance.
“His whole family was screaming. He got outside and he was throwing up all over the place,” resident Mesud Osmanovic, 21, said on Wednesday, describing the chaotic scene before the man was admitted to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on Sunday where he is in serious condition.
The hospital cited the man’s privacy as the reason for not identifying him. However, Gee Melish, who said he was a family friend, identified the man in Texas infected with Ebola as Thomas Eric Duncan.
Duncans sister Mai Wureh told the Associated Press it was her brother who is at the center of the countrys latest Ebola scare.
I hope that folks out here are beginning to “get” how bodily fluids are shared.
This is not a gentle, flu like disease. It is dramatic and fluids get everywhere within the space they occupy.
I urge everyone to spend an hour learning about how this disease works.
I would not be surprised if the article stated dogs ate the big chunks and then licked everyone in sight.
We are SCREWED, BLUED and TATTOOED!
I'm convinced that the Obama administration wants to kill us off.
I still want to know how and when his airfare was paid.
“What can Brown do for you today?”
In a sane world, no one would be allowed to travel from Liberia and Sierra Leone until this thing is under control.....
Duncan as the WH intruder, carrying Ebola instead of a knife, running through airports, all the way to Texas. Who gets fired for this lapse?
Not dying of Ebola is raysis.
4-5 days prior to departing Liberia, Mr. Duncan had direct contact with a 19-year old pregnant girl “convulsing” in the final stages of Ebola. He rode in a taxi with her in the backseat, then helped carry her home when the Ebola clinic was full. She died of Ebola hours later.
He either came to the US in hopes of better medical care, or to purposely transport Ebola to Texas. This is no accident.

There will be “they” to blame. “They underestimated the threat.”
did he buy his ticket before or after?
The first rule of immunology is to isolate the infected population. In the Bette Davis movie “Jezebel”, people were shot for trying to leave New Orleans, an area infected with Yellow Fever. Thousands died there and elsewhere in the U.S. from this disease of African origin.

I haven’t seen a report on when he bought his ticket. We know he applied for his VISA prior to the exposure.
Is united air lines still Ebola running out of west Africa?. France and Britain canceled flights
I put this on greedy corporate air lines.
You and me both plus all the others who have inquiring minds.
“Thousands died there and elsewhere in the U.S. from this disease of African origin.”
another gift from the dark continent from where we have gotten what that has been good??? NOTHING.
Was just listening to Peter Boyles. A caller said the vomit will now infect the Dallas sewer system.
The whole damn continent should be walled off permanently (along with the Middle East).
Yet, we keep letting them come on over.
Why has Liberia, Sierra Leone and anywhere else harboring Ebola been quarantined?
Why hasn’t Dallas been quarantined, i.e, all highways barricaded, rails and airports closed?
Quarantine has worked for centuries, it needs to be invoked now. It’s just too bad if the Dallas airports are closed for a month, but it’s better than spreading this disease.
