ob Schneider has learned the hard way that there's no way to inoculate yourself against an Internet backlash.
State Farm Insurance has dropped an ad campaign featuring the "Deuce Bigalow" star in a reprisal of his "Richmeister" character -- a.k.a. the "making copies" guy -- from "Saturday Night Live." The decision stems not from an objection to rehashed humor from the mid-'90s, but to Schneider's outspoken stance against childhood vaccines.
Along with former "View" co-host Jenny McCarthy, Schneider, who has lately been busy trying to revive his career with a spec sitcom, has been one of the most vocal celebrity proponents of the thoroughly discredited theory linking immunizations to autism. In 2012, he campaigned against California Bill AB 2109, designed to make it harder for parents to receive vaccine exemptions for their children.
When it passed, he registered his unhappiness in rather inflammatory terms on Twitter. "Today California passed a law to force parents to get a Doc's permission to not vaccinate their kids or they can't attend school! Nazi's," he wrote.
Some viewers of the State Farm ads thought it ironic that a company that provides health insurance should hire a celebrity spokesperson who is opposed to a standard and effective public health measure, and made their objections known via social media. This week, a representative of State Farm confirmed to PR Week that the company was working to remove the commercials from rotation.

The issue is not polio. The issue is the vaccination of children at a very early age with the mumps, measles and rubella triple vaccine. Despite the LA Times claiming the connection between vaccination and autism has been debunked, that is not the case. There is an alarming connection between autism and children who have been vaccinated at an early age such as 2 or 3. I suspect the day will come when that connection can no longer be denied. Autism was not an issue prior to the decision to encourage early vaccination of children. Yet our government and the drug companies have closed their eyes to this issue.
Maybe he can go back to making copies.
....or being a gigolo.............
So, are you implying that vaccines are not effective to protect those who get them?
You're going to feel a little prick.
Why do they need Rob Schneider when they’ve got Aaron Rodgers?
Wow, way to go projecting a false position onto what I said.
My family and I get lots of vaccines including annual flu vaccines. We do so VOLUNTARILY without the government nanny state trying to run my healthcare.
Further, I did not get either small pox or polio vaccines when I was a child due to a childhood skin condition. That decision was between my parents and my doctor. Which is how it should be.
Just trying to cover all the bases.............
>So, are you implying that vaccines are not effective to protect those who get them?
Living things mutate when given multiple hosts and can override the protection of those with vaccines.
Wow. I’ve always hated his acting. I’m starting to think better of him now.
Forced vaccination is dead wrong.

While you are correct, it’s worse than that. We aren’t talking about two or three year olds.
They want dozens of vaccines and all their neuro-adjuvants, media, and heavy metals shot into pure naked newborn immune systems. Infants 6 months and younger. They want three into the newborn the day he is born.
Read the news this week about how early exposure to antibiotics is causing these crazy childhood allergies. DUH.
ALL OF OUR IMMUNE SYSTEM IS IN OUR GUTS. It’s the bacteria we live with. An infant’s gut biome comes first from mom, while inside the uterus, and again while passing through the birth canal and drinking breastmilk. It is a pure and great system. Slowly with his intro to the world (sucking on toys by 4 mos when his hands can get them, or being kissed by healthy relatives), he is exposed to more and more bacteria, mostly good.
Western medicine wants to DRASTICALLY UPSET THIS by putting toxins into the child before he is six months old. At birth, two months, four months, and six months, totaling over 20 different doses. They are IGNORING BIOLOGY by doing this, not acting in concert with it, or even acting as if they have knowledge of it.
The doctors are choosing to possibly and temporarily help the child avoid a disease he wasn’t going to come in contact with in his first three years of life, if he is kept close to home, over giving him a lifelong good start at a healthy immune system and neurology.
Yes, our attack on our delicate neuro systems is what is causing the epidemics of neurodegenerative disorders: autism, alzheimers, Parkinson’s, etc. Vaccines early in life are a powerful way to up the chances for these diseases.
... and your attitude, you should be against ALL vaccines."
Once again you are attempting to projecting what you THINK aught to be my position and once again, you are incorrect.
State Farm....Geico....Progressive....isn’t there ANYBODY you can buy car insurance from that isn’t run by Liberals?
When my 5th child was born early, I was surprised that the hospital wanted to give him immunizations right away. He was struggling to breath and dropped from 5lb 8oz to 4lb 11 oz, there was no way I wanted his immune system to be fighting the diseases while he was struggling to survive. I did get his first round of vaccines at 9 months, but have fallen off the schedule again as I am still on the fence and his baby sister had a bad reaction to her first round of the DTaP.
We live in Minnesota and live in an area where 3rd world immigrants make up about 40% of the population, so I don’t take the decision to not vaccinate lightly. While waiting in the clinic while pregnant with my youngest I heard a child coughing in the hall behind me. One of the lab techs said to her coworker, “Oh...that’s the one with whooping cough”. Sure enough, the child was in a burka. One of my older children had a horrible reaction to vaccines at 17 months. She was in a zombie state for 4 days-people at church were asking what was wrong. Terrified me, I spend hours on my knees and I believe God healed her and it has affected my opinion regarding vaccines.

But you're already vaccinated.
WHY are you worried?
Logic.
What’s your point?
Not that it will do any good, as you’ve been told during prior such discussions, but Soycd has one of the correct responses in Post 31.
Ain’t Alzheimer’s a bitch?
