The First Secretary of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia described the reforms which resulted in the Prague Spring as socialism with a human face. The New York Times calls Madam Secretary, CBSs extremely expensive prime time contribution to the Hillary campaign, Hillary with a human face.
A network series can cost between $3 and $4 million an episode. Assuming that Madam Secretary runs even one season, instead of being canceled ignominiously like Commander in Chief, the 2005 attempt at giving Hillary a human face, it will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 million.
Thats double the $46 million that Hillarys campaign spent on TV ads against Obama and it gives the Hillary 2016 campaign over 20 hours of prime time network unpaid ad space. If the series lasts long enough to run through the whole campaign that will double to $200 million. But the Hillary 2016 campaign is expected to cost around $2 billion. CBSs $100 million donation is only a drop in a big bucket.
Theres more than a whiff of Kim Jong-Il, Stalin and Saddam Hussein about needing so many actors to portray a current politician. But Madam Secretary reeks of political insecurity. A similar series about Obama would have been worshipful. Madam Secretary is nervously revisionist. Its desperately trying to glue an appealing human face over the Hillary mask that Hillary Clinton wears over her real face.
Hillary wont be able to get anyone to play Hillary Clinton once she actually runs for office. Lori McCreary, the executive producer of Madam Secretary, said that she was inspired to create the $100 million Hillary infomercial by watching the Benghazi hearings.

I don’t believe what Freeman said about this series nor do I believe in coincidences.
I watched it and I did not see any resemblance to Hillary.
Too bad. Tea Leoni is easy on the eyes. I’m still not gonna watch it.
“attack the advertisers.”
Agreed. We see it work again and again as a tool of the left.
Having Tea Leoni play Shrillary is almost as funny as Lois Lerner claiming she’s not a “political person.”
Hollyweird is as fraudulent as the Democratic party.
It did get 14.28 million viewers, per zap2it.com.
Maybe that was just a fluke because it was wedged between 60 Minutes (18.03 million viewers) and The Good Wife (9.95 million viewers).
Premieres do tend to get higher viewership, but they lose in the following weeks. Additionally, MS had little competition, other than NBC Football, as Fox and ABC played reruns.

I didn’t watch MS. Her ‘I am not big on protocol’ in the preview was enough.
I don’t mind Bolshies wasting their money.
Which sponsors were sucking up?
I won’t watch - why give them the ratings?
I agree. It was actually entertaining.
Hillary's problem is that she refuses her real face. To her, only peasants have to have a real face. But of course what's really going on is that she's terrified of her real face, because its taken the form of her absolute refusal to obey God's law.
Her solution? Normalize hideousness. Give soccer moms little gold stars for abandoning morality, self-restraint, personal dignity and inner peace. That way Hillary no longer stands out for her insanity. And look around - what do you see everywhere? Smug soccer moms flashing little gold stars...
... and washing down antidepressants with wine.
Mrs. Thorne tried to watch this last night, but turned it off after 15 minutes terming it “ridiculous”.
I agree. It was actually entertaining.
That's the point, geniuses. You see the name of the show? You're supposed to remember the name of the show, watch the show, enjoy the show, and see no resemblance to the real Hillary. And then, once again, remember the name of the show. That's how it works. Look up "conflation." Look up "mind control." Look up "get a clue."
I heard it just won the Golden Globe, Emmy, Pulitzer, NOW, MTV and a few other made-up awards for bestest show evva since the other Hillary show (featuring Geena Davis) back in 2006..
They’re trying to recreate the benefit that The West Wing had for the Clinton Administration.
In fact, wasn’t there a not so subtle Hillary-based series back in 2006 to 08 or so? Didn’t work out too well, if there was ...
Seriously? I see it going on for at least two seasons. It will be a mega smash. All the Hillary sycophants and NOW Cows will tune in religiously.
For you perhaps,, I have no doubt you would be influenced to vote for her, for me it was entertainment without a political message.
I had a quick look in at the show to see if they rigged up Leoni with prosthetic jowls and dropsy ankles. Verisimilitude was lacking.
I have refused to see a Morgan Freeman movie since he started spewing his racist, pro-Obama BS. I won’t put another nickel in this idiot’s pocket. There is too much competition for my entertainment dollar for me to give any of it to traitors.
I hated the idea of a TV show to get votes for Hillary when it was sold as “Commander in Chief” back in 2005-06. Starred Geena Davis as the President and lasted 19 episodes with next to no ratings. If it failed then why would it be a good idea now?
