Apparently there’s a big rally going on up in NYC right now to support the environment. These people are supporting the environment by expending a ton of CO2 to get to the city to decry the use of CO2. The rally itself is self-evidently absurd; I just wanted to highlight one of the signs seen there:

Socialism is a religion in all forms. It has its angry and vengeful gods, its creation stories, its articles of faith, its angels, its devils, and its own path to redemption or hell for humanity.
Its the golden-calf of our times.
Do they realize that it takes some kind of fuel and raw materials to make their signs, pens, shoes, cars, bikes, clothes, etc., to grow their food, to purify their water....
I love it when Al Gore flies around in his private jet to his Tenn. mansion, California mansion, and Manhattan penthouse, while telling us to WALK, Take public trans, and to down with LESS! Typical Communist.

I worship Mother Earth by taking all the bounty She provides — oil, gas, minerals, crops, livestock, timber — and turn it into useful products.

The Koch bros are about to make Harry Reid’s head explode.
Harry is fixated on them and their success. Maybe, when Harry becomes minority leader next session, and his head does explode, a camera will record the event — for posterity.
They’ll need to use a borescope to record the event rectally since that’s where his head is.
The Koch Brothers, like all who are buying and destroying America, are worthy of nothing but contempt.
The left is being played just like we are. These “people” will support (a/k/a/ buy) candidates we may like. They will tout positions we may hold. But they want one thing and one thing only ... to buy the greatest nation on Earth. And they are DAMNED close.
Worshiping the Kochs (or any of them) and supporting any candidate purchased by them is the end ... the E N D ... of our Republic. And be assured we are DAMNED close.
Capitalism is a great system. Capitalism is NOT the fire sale of America.
If Conservatives don’t wake up, no one will.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the MSM has live, start to finish, coverage.
I don’t watch MSM or Fox News anymore so unless it shows up here on FR I’ll not know how the MSM covers any story.

A few facts might strengthen your case.
The Kochs are not conservative, they’re libertarian.
This means, of course, they’re often allied with conservatives, but not on all issues.
I’ll take rich guys supporting limitations on government over rich guys supporting expansion of government.
