I don’t think we ever got the straight story on this ‘incident’ to begin with, and I doubt that we are getting it now.
It seemed to me that what Christie did is take advantage of something that was scheduled months in advance. You can’t just wave a magic wand and have construction crews show up.
At a cost of ? to taxpayers!
Christie is not a favorite of mine. He can rot for all I care.
I do not like to see people taken down like this, and I am glad to be able to defend him on the point.
Delay, Palin, Christie, and now Perry, it’s pretty much textbook Take-down 101. It’s also immoral to the max.
Somewhere along the line, I’d love to see contempt charges brought for some of these baseless prosecutions, or heads roll for baseless investigations.
imho i believe the feds aren’t going to prosecute because they have “weak links” to Christie’s corruption.
I firmly believe that Christie with full knowledge shut down that bridge.
I’m not so sure of the article posted here. Maybe someone
should dig deeper . Christie is corrupt as any one of them
in the federal govt. Hurricane Sandy & FEMA did not have the best
management nor coordination with his office during that
time. Right now there are a lot of people who are having
to pay back FEMA funds because FEMA “OVERPAID” them.
The whole state of NJ is corrupt from to top to bottom....

IMO, there "is" more but this is something that has been going on longer than Chris Christie has been on the planet. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey dates to 1921. The port is the #3 US port by traffic volume and the Port Authority controls literally mountains of money. That inspires attempts by nearly every politician in the area to try to grab a piece of it.
I've read that Jersey City (under Mayor Steven M. Fulop, one of the "rising stars" of the NJ 'rat party) deliberately screwed up traffic entering and leaving a Port Authority trucking terminal. Why? Rectangular pieces of green paper with pictures of dead presidents, Jersey City would like more of them, thank you!
This is corruption on a massive scale and it has spanned decades, involves both political parties and involves both the State of New Jersey and State of New York.
Doesn’t matter now if there was a link, or not.
The PERCEPTION of “Wrong-doing” is now firmly ingrained in the average sheeple’s mind by the media.
The elites will continue sweeping this away, polishing his image.
IMHO, the elites really want a Repub victory in 2014 Senate and 2016 President.
With a guy like Christie, the “nation can feel relief” from the communist slant of the Obama years, with all its overt criminality...
and switch back the pubbies with their covert criminality and more subtle new world order agendas on domestic policy...
and pubbies and conservatives will support US foreign policy of dividing up Iraq into smaller more controllable nations, adding Ukraine and some others to the EU, flattening Syria after a false flag, etc.

You are wrong; if there was the slightest link to Christie, the MEDIA would take him down (they’re already trying with no evidence).
You’ve been snookered by the Masters of the Lie that run our media; no bridge was shut down (entrance ramp access from the town of Fort Lee was). “Bridge-gate” is the liberal way of trying to compare it to Watergate; they just had interviews with whiny local libs who recall the horror of the traffic (no kidding - as though it was 9/11 and they were watching people impact on the pavement in front of their eyes).
Christie has all the right enemies (and his share of flaws); this story has been kept alive to divert attention from the collapse of our country and our way of life, keeping a minor Republican politician in the national news constantly with bad press. The NYC metro area in particular needs this distraction, as there is probably no other part of the country where the number of jobs and Americans is falling faster...
See # 16; Christie’s clean in this one. Simply a diversion while an African Muslim dismantles our country & culture...

this has smelled to high heavens from the very get to esp. when Christie fired that one chief lady staff person.
The other(s) either resigned or claimed they were moving on to other jobs.
