A doctor and a policeman in New Orleans have only 48 hours to locate a killer infected with pneumonic plague.

Trying their damnedest to get it here.

The ship should be diverted to Guantanamo bay. There are medical facilities there and it is fairly close by.

Here it comes.....
All it takes is a few of these arriving without early identification.

I miss the good old days when ships had to wait outside the harbor until they cleared quarantine.

Gitmo would make too much sense. Why is this vessel even near our Gulf Coast waters?

Folks,
First of all, these crew members aren't Africans, they're most likely (former) Soviets, Chinese, Filipino, or Greek.
Two, you get Ebola by eating bushmeat, or being in close contact (very close) with someone who has it. Crewmembers don't leave the vessel in these ports, they want nothing more to do with Africa than any of us do, perhaps less.
Three, even if they had Ebola, it can essentially be cured with minor medicines and Gatorade. It's tearing through Africa like the ‘85 Bears, because Africans aren't really up to speed on things like hygiene, and quarantine.
Get ‘em in here, study it, and cure them.
