While World Watches ISIS, Boko Haram Declares Its Own Caliphate In Nigeria
NBC News ^ | 9/15/2014 | Robert Windrem

the leader of the Nigerian terror group Boko Haram has established the world's second Islamic "caliphate" this summer and is seeking to cement his bloody rule on a territory that is now roughly the size of west Virginia.

While much of the world has been focused on the brutal reign of ISIS in Iraq and Syria, the forces of Boko haram have been racking up victories in northern Nigeria and have been violently imposing an equally harsh version of Islamic law on approximately 3 million civilians - including beheadings, forced marriages and the forced induction of children into its military forces.

Most recently, the group's forces have seized two cities with a combined population of 600,000; nearly surrounded Maiduguri, home to about 1 million Nigerians; and sent government troops fleeing in scenes reminiscent of the rout of the Iraqi army by ISIS fighters this spring.

... Boko Haram's emir, Abubakar Shekau, spoke of the new Muslim state in an hour-long video released on Aug. 24, after the group seized Gwoza, a mostly Christian city of 300,000 on the border with Cameroon.

... Shekau, a multilingual jihadi responsible for the death of thousands of his countrymen, also spoke of killing 1,000 "infidels" in the city on that day alone.

...

Hillary and the State Dept created the Boko Haram Caliphate,
and Obama, DNC and the RINOs created the IS Caliphate.

How treasonously “sweet” that it.

So neither Republicans nor Democrats in office today, nor the surrogates and cabinet members of previous presidencies cared about the massive slaughter that happened in Sudan (when both Clinton and Bush were president), nor cared about Rwanda (when Bill Clinton was president) nor cares about Nigeria now (occurring now with Obama being president)?

Why would they not care about those atrocities, and also not care about the killing of Christians and the stealing of black children, but care about other atrocities committed in other places?

So does it come down to Rwanda was not near any oil fields, and neither was Sudan near any, so we didn’t care about those countries?

Nigeria has some oil fields, but is this because it is also in sub-Saharan Africa in addition to the aforementioned that makes the US not want to intervene?

All of them being sub-Saharan seems to be a commonality among each, but another commonality among these three is that they are all majority black, too.

Saudi oil fields provide 70% and 50% of the oil China and Japan uses.

Any disruption would cause economic chaos.

Maybe if they had some oil fields it would be a big deal.

Yes, and as Obama continues to weaken the US, the world slides more into chaos and Islamic terrorists are on the rise everywhere. When Obama surveys the destruction he has caused and the creation of caliphates, does he worry or does he see the dream of a Muslim dream of the Greater Caliphate closer than ever and he would have been instrumental in bringing down the West to prepare the way?

Libya wasn’t a “Saudi oil field” -— but yet Libya does have massive oil reserves, though not as massive as Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq.

Libya providing a significant chunk of oil to Western European countries is key (any disruption would cause economic chaos), as is what you listed concerning how much oil China and Japan obtains from Saudi Arabia.

Egypt is on the border of Israel, so that might figure in, though Egypt has a lack of oil reserves. Israel is the only tried-and true ally in the ME, so that obviously figures in as well.

So we are left with Sudan and Rwanda having no major oil fields, and they and Nigeria (though it has some oil fields) all being sub-Saharan.

No.

Saudi Arabia provides about 10% of the oil China uses.

Nearly all of Japan's oil is imported. Saudi supplies a 1/3 of that.

1000 well armed and supplied Dessert Storm combat vets can take both Caliphates down in a month, providing they are left to their own devices.

As reported by the Christian Post - and threaded here at FR - ISIS is giving advice to Boko Haram on how to build a caliphate.

What ever happened to Moochelle’s laughable #BringOurGirlsBack campaign? I guess that was only hip for a week or two.

So for Japan and China, Nigeria’s oil exports (if there were any to them in fact) would necessarily have to be included in the “others” slice.

With that in mind...

How much oil does China, Japan the US and Western Europe get from Nigeria, Sudan and Rwanda?
