"Centralists in America fear that, if Scotland votes yes, it may set a chain of events in motion that could affect many more western regions," the movement organizers wrote. "Suddenly, the impossible seems possible."
With some new attention on Texas nationalism comes repeated arguments for independence: Yahoo columnist Rick Newman notes that with its GDP of $1.6 trillion and population of 27 million Texas would be the 13th largest country in the world if it obtained independence from the United States. He also wrote Texas could lure companies away from the United States and survive on the strength of its economy.

Maybe the Rothschild’s ARE responsible for wars after all ... !?!!
If it doesnt work in Scotland’s favor this time, does anyone know how soon this can be placed back on the ballot?
5 years is the minimum period between referendums.
I hate it when someone says that some political unit would be the "13th largest" or "27th largest" country if independent - without defining what they mean by "large."
In the case at hand, I suspect that he means "largest economy," not "largest population."
With regards to population, I believe that Texas would be about 45th or 46th (similar to Ghana or Nepal).
With regards to geographical extent, I believe that it would be about 39th or 40th (similiar in geographical extent to Sambia or Burma).
Regards,
The Queen just issued this press release about Scottish independence:
The trouble with Scotland... is that its full of Scots! Perhaps the time has come to reinstitute an old custom. Grant them prima noctes. First night, when any common girl inhabiting their lands is married, our nobles shall have sexual rights to her on the night of her wedding. If we cant get them out, we breed them out.
if Scotland the socialists which they won’t left the UK then it will show how stupid they are, though on the other hand they will do a big favor to the rest of the country by taking their socialists away, thus making the UK more right wing.
Salmom is promising NATO an the EU and they could not even afford it, let alone all their welfare England and Wales pays to them.
All eyes will be on Scotland this week.
***************************
It’s only a referendum vote. Regardless of the voting results, Scotland will still be in the UK.
Think of it like if the US had a referendum on the 2014 ballot to remove Obama and his administration. The majority vote of “YES” wouldn’t change anything until he’s gone in 2017.
LOL!
That’s not what I’m hearing.
I guess we will all know for sure if there is a yes vote.
Every source I have heard said the opposite of what you are saying. My understanding is all they have to do is vote yes next week.
A Texas vote is a mighty fine idea!
Here are some link ans quotes. Yeah man it’s the real deal. They may called it a “referendum vote”, but I would not read too much into it.
Why would all these banks leave then? Please see links and quotes below.
For example, a couple of large banks have attempted to sway the vote during this past week by publicly declaring that they will have to move to England if the vote for Scottish independence is successful

“The Royal Bank of Scotland announcedThursday that it is making contingency plans to move its legal incorporation to England in the event of a yes vote. In addition, Lloyds Banking Group said it had made arrangements to establish new legal entities in England should voters in Scotland decide to sever ties with Britain.”

he division would hand the Scots about 96 percent of annual oil production and 47 percent of the gas, according to estimates for 2012 by the University of Aberdeens Alex Kemp and Linda Stephen cited by the Scottish government.

In fact, if there is a yes vote for Scottish independence it is being projected that the value of the British pound will fall substantially and we could see a negative shock in British financial markets
Adam Memon, the head of economic research at the Centre for Policy Studies, said: The principal immediate threat would be to sterling and the stability of the financial markets. The recent selloff is a mere warning of what may come if the Scots actually do vote for independence.
Threadneedle Investments said: Given the constitutional and economic uncertainties attached to a potential break-up of the UK, a vote for independence would be likely to deliver a negative shock to UK financial assets and lead to meaningful currency weakness.
Texas per capita GNP $59k, USA 53, Germany 45, France 41.
Scotland 45 including North Sea.
Then there is this..... many of the founding fathers of Texas were from Tennessee and of Scottish Heritage
If Texas leaves, then I would not be surprised to see other states in the Midwest and South to follow and reform under some sort of new union.
I think the Feds may have miscalculated by leaving the borders wide open. After all how can we be sovereign without borders?
My alternative is to solidify the border and then purge the blue states of the Northeast. All north and east of New York and possibly including Maryland and New Jersey will be purged. That is , those states will be kicked out of America. They are not American now.
They can establish their own nation of Neoeuropa that mimics the Europeans they so desperately try to copy.

All of the Reconquista terroritories should secede. Boy wouldn’t that piss off La Raza and Guiterrez as they see their evil plans laid to waste. Their Alinskyte support would mean nothing then...
Do I ever agree. The low info parasites can have their Pelosi/Muslim led kingdom while the God fearing, Bible toting foundation that made this Republic can flourish and grow as intended.
Well said! Thanks!
LOL! Oh yeah... no doubt about THAT!
